Jokes

We apologize if you found any of the jokes to be crude or offensive. We also apologize for you not having any sense of humor and for being so damn uptight. Jeez, they’re only jokes.

Two married buddies are out drinking one night when one turns to the other and says, "You know, I don't know what else to do. Whenever I go home after we've been out drinking, I turn the headlights off before I get to the driveway. I shut off the engine and coast into the garage. I take my shoes off before I go into the house, I sneak up the stairs, I get undressed in the bathroom. I ease into bed and my wife STILL wakes up and yells at me for staying out so late!" His buddy looks at him and says, "Well, you're obviously taking the wrong approach. I screech into the driveway, slam the door, storm up the steps, throw my shoes into the closet, jump into bed, rub my hands on my wife's ass and say, 'How about a blowjob?' ....and she's always sound asleep." Five people are on a plane, four guys and one girl. Suddenly the engine stalls and they crash. Miraculously all five of them survive the crash but are stranded on a small deserted island. Since these four guys will need to have their natural urges satisfied, they decided to make up a schedule. Each guy would get a week to dick the woman as much as possible, the next week another guy and so on. This arrangement works out great for years, satisfying both the guys and the nymphomaniac woman until she suddenly dies The first month went by and it was really awful; second month was really bad; third month was almost unbearable; fourth month rolls around and the guys couldn't handle it anymore so they buried her. A woman is in a coma. Nurses are in her room giving her a sponge bath. One of them is washing her "private area" and notices that there is a response on the monitor when he touches her. They go to her husband and explain what happened, telling him, "Crazy as this sounds, maybe a little oral sex will do the trick and bring her out of the coma." The husband is skeptical, but they assure him that they'll close the curtains for privacy. Besides it's worth a try. The hubby finally agrees and goes into his wife's room. After a few minutes the woman's monitor flat-lines... no pulse... no heart rate. The nurses run into the room. The husband is standing there, pulling up his pants and says, "I think she choked." A male whale and a female whale were swimming off the coast of Japan when they noticed a whaling ship. The male whale recognized it as the same ship that had harpooned his father many years earlier. He said to the female whale, "Lets both swim under the ship and blow out of our air holes at the same time and it should cause the ship to turn over and sink. They tried it and sure enough, the ship turned over and quickly sank. Soon however, the whales realized the sailors had jumped overboard and were swimming to the safety of shore. The male was enraged that they were going to get away and told the female "lets swim after them and gobble them up before they reach the shore." At this point, he realized the female was becoming reluctant to follow him. "Look", she said, "I went along with the blow job, but I absolutely refuse to swallow the seamen."

On Tour: Paul Romanko of

Shadows Fall Interview by Mike Demos and Curt Ridall PI: How has Mayhem been treating you? PR: The shows have been great and the days have been long and hot. Its been a sweat fest, but its been fun. PI: Where were you before this tour? PR: We did some dates down in South America and a big festival in Columbia. We came from there and flew right in to start this up. It‟s been a good month and a half since we‟ve been home. PI: How does it compare from playing a huge festival oversees like Columbia to coming back here and playing Mayhem? PR: Everything‟s good, they‟re all good. At the end of the day I‟d take a 500 cap club anytime. That‟s where all the energy is, you‟re in everybody‟s face. It‟s a lot more fun. Its great playing the festivals too, you get to play in front of a lot of new fans. I enjoy the personal shows myself. It‟s a lot easier to feed off of everybody. PI: You guys have been playing for a long time now. Is playing a festival like this like a big family reunion for you? PR: For the most part it‟s just business as usual. Bands like Chimaira and Hatebreed, we‟ve been touring with them for over a decade. It‟s always nice to see your friends. It‟s great to hang out and do the rock and roll summer camp. PI: What‟s a question that you‟ve never been asked that you would like to be asked? PR: That‟s your job…I‟m not letting you off the hook that easy (laughs). PI: What don‟t you like to talk about? PR: Politics gets a little hairy sometimes. Everybody has a different opinion. I don‟t like to speak for 4 other people in my band. We try to neglect those questions, we might get into it a little bit though. It‟s hard to make a stance when there are 5 different opinions. It‟s a pretty shitty thing to put words into someone else‟s mouth. PI: What do you do with your time off? PR: I‟ve been trying to get more physical and do more gym stuff. I‟m trying to play ice hockey again. I played a lot when I was younger all the way up through college and then took some time off. I‟ve been doing a lot of stuff like that. We will see what happens when we start getting together and writing again. I‟ve also been biking and swimming. I like to get outside.

PI: What‟s coming up for Shadows Fall? PR: When this wraps up I think we‟re putting something together for some international touring. We have some offers to put something together in the fall for a couple different countries. When we know a little more we will announce it. We also want to do some U.S. stuff before the years out. It‟s all in its formulative stages though. One thing were really bad at is being productive on tour as far a music goes. I think over the years we‟ve written maybe 1 song on the road, it just never seems to work out. When we get a little time at home we will start looking at writing some new music. PI: Do you have some advice for the younger bands coming up? PR: With the way the things are in the industry…confused, I guess is a good word for it. No one really knows what to do with the drop in sales, or downloading. I guess owning as much of it as you can. That way you have the ability to change things within your structure. You can move at a quicker pace instead of waiting for decisions up the ladder. That‟s the biggest thing. There‟s so many free ways to market yourself. When we started we were dubbing cassettes and handing them outside of a Pantera show. Nowadays you can throw a link up on your MySpace or Facebook and it gets out to 1,000s of people. There‟s a whole new way of thinking from when we started. We are still learning a lot as we go. PI: Do you guys have any pre-stage rituals? PR: Just put on the nasty stage clothes and go. We don‟t really put a lot of thought into that stuff. We just kind of go with it. If you put too much into it then it‟s not real. There‟s nothing worse than a bunch of premeditated bullshit. For us it just happens. PI: Thanks for sitting down with us and giving us a chance to get Plug‟d In PR: Thanks so much for your time.

The Furious Winds: Exclusive Interview w/ Johnny Plague and Art Cruz of

Winds of Plague Winds of Plague have some legendary mosh pits. There are some amazing YouTube videos of their insane walls of death. We got a chance to catch up With Johnny Plague and Art Cruz right after their performance on this year‟s Mayhem Fest tour in Camden, NJ. Here is what they had to say. PI: Your pits have been absolutely crazy! What are you thinking about when you step out there and the kids are going nuts? WOP: (Art) Overwhelmed and excited to go the hell off! (Johnny) When you step out there and have that much energy coming at you, you just lose your mind. PI: Where did your opening intro come from? WOP: (Johnny) We created that. I wrote the words to it and I needed someone to narrate it. I asked my old high school English teacher, a very old Irish priest type guy, and he came into the studio and did it. It was a trip. PI: What would be a Winds of Plague battle cry? WOP: (Art) I think we did it today. We came out like 300. Whooopp! (Johnny) It was great. PI: Who has been the best stop on Mayhem so far? WOP: (Johnny) I think today was pretty awesome (Camden, NJ) (Art) Albuquerque was pretty good. (Both) Hometown shows are always awesome! PI: Any chance some of the stuff we‟ve seen on this tour might be in an upcoming live DVD? WOP: (Johnny) We were supposed to be filming for it, but it didn‟t quite work out. The crew putting Mayhem on have been doing tons of YouTube videos. We are in and out of there all the time. PI: We know it gets busy on tour, but you guys do get some downtime. How do you spend your downtime? WOP: (Art) Movies and sleep. He likes to sleep. A lot of us like to watch movies and the rest of the band likes to use their computers. I don‟t have a computer though. (Johnny) Sleep! I watch a movie and I‟m usually asleep in the first 10 minutes.

PI: After this tour, what‟s next for W.O.P.? WOP: (Art) Pre-production. Finish some writing, then record. We are shooting for February 2011. (Johnny) You never know with record labels. We want February! (Art) That‟s pretty damn soon, so hopefully it comes out. PI: How has W.O.P. adapt to the change in the music industry? WOP: (Johnny) That‟s the hardest part…trying to stay current and “hot” with all the people out there. As stupid as it is, you really have to stay on top of the whole internet bullshit. We were a band before the whole “MySpace” thing. We were touring and doing our thing. Now we stay up all night on MySpace and Twitter and bullshit like that. And of course great tours like this don‟t hurt. PI: The ladies in the crowd go crazy when you take your shirt off. What‟s your workout regimen Johnny? WOP: (Johnny) The reason I‟m singing without a shirt is because I lost my luggage and I have like 2 shirts. I don‟t want to get them sweaty. I just started going to the gym in between tours and I kind of got hooked on it. I like to carry that out on tour as well. We brought a bunch of little weights and like to do that. It helps with killing time too. I‟m currently a member of 24 hour fitness. I like gyms with huge chains cause you can work out anywhere in the country. (Art) I‟m a member of LA Fitness. (Johnny) We have bodybuilding.com supporting us and sending us out stuff. They make life easier for us. PI: What about nutrition? WOP: (Johnny) The catering is awesome. (Art) Best food than any other tour we‟ve ever done. (Johnny) That‟s usually the hardest part. You get stuck eating McDonald like 3 times a day sometimes. Here they‟re cooking really good meals. (Art) They have really good healthy deserts. PI: Back to the new album. Is there going to be any music videos from it? WOP: (Johnny) I want to try my hand at producing a video. I‟ve written out some treatments and sent them into our management, we will see if they like them. Hopefully I will get to do something. PI: What‟s the current them for the next album? WOP: (Johnny) We are bringing the samurai back again. He will be on the cover. (Art) He‟s like our Eddie. PI: If you could have any singer, from any band, come out and do “Decimate The Weak” with you…Who would it be? WOP: Freddy from Madball! PI: Thanks for sitting down with us and giving us a chance to get Plug‟d In. WOP: Always! Hope you guys had a great time!

Into The Pits w/ Dan The Economy Sucks, but you should still drop a couple bucks on this. Very rarely do we come across a piece of music that does not include breakdowns, techno beats, and horrible screams. Fortuantely I have found an EP that will bring many metal heads back to the thrash days with a hint of Children of Bodom and At the Gates. Well, ladies and gentlemen; I present to you, Pariah. Originally hailing from Kodiak, Alaska; the boys in Pariah have found themselves on the east coast due to military living. Right around the corner from Sacred Serenity, Pariah have kept up with a modern style of death metal while staying within the roots of thrash bands such as Metallica and testament. Although I can‟t stop there and say they sound exactly like the early thrash bands that helped create a new genre of music. Their self titled, eight song EP which is currently under review by Earache Records, gives a unique take on what you‟ll find in mist heavy underground scenes. For many young listeners metal is little more than breakdowns and pig squeals. Pariah‟s EP will introduce the younger fans of extreme music to Children of Bodom style speed mixed with power/thrash metal vocals. Their self titled EP shows that the band can shred and they shred quickly. Take for example “When Worlds Collide,” staying at a steady speed comparable to testament (which is by no means easy) Pariah drill a melodic trem pick riff backed by lighting quick double bass and some fancy cymbal work to make listeners get up and mosh with their dog (Side: Into the Pit Reviews does not endorse moshing with household pets…Try moshing with a bear than get back to me). Although a great album it may be hard for some to get into just because of it‟s old school metal feel. There are no sweeps that I could hear, hardly anyone does semi- power metal vocals and there are no blast beats and/or breakdowns. It is something that has to be listened to a couple of times before it is truly appreciated for the semi-masterpiece that it is. You can hear more of Pariah at their myspace,

The Breakdown W/ Bandi The Mill Creek Tavern, in Philadelphia, was a bit of an upgrade than what I pictured when I went down to see Adler‟s Appetite, Tuesday, July 27th. It was a small place on a corner, but not near as small as I expected from the term “tavern.” Not much of a drink selection, but as an Irish lass, I‟ll drink whatever you have, so it didn‟t really bother me. When Philadelphia‟s own Razorblade Skin kicked off the night, they bypassed 1st and 2nd and headed straight into 5th gear. The drumbeat was perfect, not too overpowering, and not drowned out by the guitars. In my opinion, the best thing about Razorblade Skin was the guitar pieces. The rhythm and lead had very distinct parts, and the solos were amazing! At times, the bass seemed a little quiet, but over all, it was an excellent performance. The chemistry in the band is great, and Razorblade Skin sure knows how to put on a show. Anchored is currently on tour with Adler‟s Appetite, but as much as I tried to figure out why, it was to no avail. After noticing that I wasn‟t the only person cringing after a rendition of Buck Cherry‟s Crazy Bitch, I didn‟t feel so bad. By the end of their set, it was my opinion that they‟d be better off touring with bands such as Hinder or Nickelback. Remember, this is strictly my opinion, and I encourage you to come to your own conclusions. When you think of “sex, drugs, and rock and roll,” Guns N‟ Roses is definitely one of the first to come to mind, yet Steven Adler, drummer from ‟85-„90 had to part ways due to his addictions. Adler‟s Appetite is essentially a Guns N‟ Roses cover band, albeit a very good one. There aren‟t many people that can do justice to Axl‟s vocals, but I was pleasantly surprised with Rick Stitch. The rest of Adler‟s Appetite consisted of Chip Z‟Nuff on bass, Alex Grossi and Michael Thomas on guitar, and of course, Steven Adler on drums. As the hit their second song, which was Night Train, everyone was out of their seats, crowding around the stage. They played to the 50 or so people at Mill Creek Tavern like we were an arena of 50 thousand. Steven kept standing up from behind the drum kit thanking everyone for coming out. He was very appreciative of his fans. The fans seemed genuinely concerned for Steven and his health. He had been on both Celebrity Rehab and Sober House, having battled with addiction for 25 years. He had suffered a stroke, which had affected his speech a bit, but the fact that he was happy to be alive and playing the drums was obvious to everyone in attendance on this Tuesday night. Adler‟s Appetite is currently on tour promoting Steven‟s book, My Appetite for Destruction, which when I can, I intend to read. Adler‟s Appetite is worth seeing whether you‟re a die hard Guns N‟ Roses fan or just the average music lover.

I headed down to Philadelphia on Sunday, August 8th, 2010 to the Whiskey Tango where the Triple Threat Tour featuring John Corabi, LA Guns and Faster Pussycat were playing. I expected a show full of sleaze, and I wasn‟t disappointed. The “Triple Threat” is the most accurate way to describe it. Sinner Saints, of Philadelphia, was the opening band. They were good. They‟re nothing extremely heavy, just straight-up solid rock. I don‟t know if I would go down to Philly again just to see them, but if they were a little closer, I‟d go to the show. Philadelphia native, John Corabi took the stage next after a few technical difficulties. I first knew of John Corabi when he was fronting Motley Crue. I thought he was good and shortly afterwards discovered The Scream and Union. John Corabi was a front man, guitarist and comedian all rolled into one. He finished off the night with Hooligan’s Holiday, with everyone in the audience singing along. He was an incredible performer. He is definitely one of those where you become a bigger fan after seeing him live. It‟s a recommendation. Second was LA Guns, the version with Tracii Guns and Jizzy Pearl. It was a great show, full of energy, as Tracii was tearing through songs such as Sex Action, Rip and Tear, Never Enough, and of course, Ballad of Jayne. Tracii Guns really knows how to please the crowd. It‟s quite obvious that he loves what he does, which makes anyone watching enjoy it even more. They were only onstage for about an hour, which wasn‟t nearly enough time. The crowd was great, and I don‟t recall anyone mentioning anything about the other version of LA Guns. I was a little nervous when Faster Pussycat took the stage. I had heard some bad reviews of them in recent times, but they didn‟t let me down. Taime Downe was smoking throughout the entire show, but it only adds to the performance. House of Pain, Slip of the Tongue, Bathroom Wall, Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll, among a list of other classics were played. It was a loud and raunchy circus act, just like Faster Pussycat should be. It was an amazing night. I felt like I was in the 80‟s, and glam/hair metal was still at its high point. The energy in the crowd was great. The Whiskey Tango had a nice sized crowd, but not to the point where you felt suffocated. All the members of the different bands, except for Taime Downe, were out mingling with the crowd, talking, laughing and posing for pictures. I like to see that at shows. It really lets the fans connect with the bands. I can definitely say that next time any of the above are within a reasonable distance, I will be there, and my suggestion to you would be to check them out as well.

Interview w/ Tracii Guns coming soon!

You just got to respect Chuck Norris. Seriously, if you don't its your ass. Here’s some funny reasons why Chuck Norris is the “Man”.

Chuck Norris doesnt have AIDS but he gives it to people anyway.

520 W. Hamilton St. Allentown, Pa

When you open a can of whoop-ass, Chuck Norris jumps out. Chuck Norris can piss into gale force winds. There are no disabled people. Only people who have met Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris won 'Jumanji' without ever saying the word. He simply beat the living shit out of everything that was thrown at him, and the game forfeited.

09/12/10

Chuck Norris once bet NASA he could survive re-entry without a spacesuit. On July 19th, 1999, a naked Chuck Norris re-entered the earth's atmosphere, streaking over 14 states and reaching a temperature of 3000 degrees. An embarrassed NASA publicly claimed it was a meteor, and still owes him a beer. Chuck Norris got a perfect score on his SAT's, simply by writing Chuck Norris for every answer. Aliens do exist. They're just waiting for Chuck Norris to die before they attack. Chuck Norris once ate three 72 oz. steaks in one hour. He spent the first 45 minutes having sex with his waitress. After much debate, President Truman decided to drop the atomic bomb on Hiroshima rather than the alternative of sending Chuck Norris. It was more "humane".

Chuck Norris doesn't see dead people. He makes people dead.

Getting Metal w/ Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed Jamey Jasta Interview By: Michael Demos We caught up with Hatebreed front man Jamey Jasta backstage @ Mayhem Fest in Camden, N.J. Jamey is one of the busiest men in Metal today, so we felt lucky to sit down and talk with him. Hatebreed had been headlining the Jagermeister Stage for the whole tour and the crowds have been going crazy for their intense, high-energy set. At most signing booths there was at least a 30 minute wait for autographs. Everyone we spoke to said it was more than worth it. Here‟s what Jamey had to say about the tour and what‟s going on in one of the biggest, hardest bands today. PI: How has Mayhem been for you so far? JJ: It‟s been good. It‟s been a little hectic. There‟s been a lot of signings…you gotta shake hands and kiss babies. Hatebreed is doing well on this album. We‟ve been on tour forever and it feels good. PI: What is up with the beard? JJ: I basically lost a bet. Without getting into the details, I grew it out. Now that Zack Wylde approved of it I‟m gonna leave it till the last day of Ozz Fest . PI: What‟s going on with Kingdom of Sorrow? Anything new with them? JJ: We have a new album that came out last month and we are doing Ozz Fest. We will see what happens at the end of the year. No other plans yet though. PI: With all the stuff that‟s going on during these tours and festivals, can we expect another live DVD? JJ: Yea, we want to, but I don‟t know a timeframe. We want to do more of a documentary type thing. We want to do old shows and the history of the band. We want to interview the old members. We want to try and do something more like a movie than a live show. PI: What goes through you when you step on stage and the crowd receives you? JJ: It‟s crazy. It‟s insane that people still support us through all these years. I‟m just used to..all the bands I used to listen to growing up, a lot of them faded into obscurity. The scene goes in and out. Metals big then it get small. Then it‟s big, and then it gets small. We‟ve just been lucky to maintain throughout these years. I feel very grateful and count my blessings every day.

PI: What do you do with your time off both on tour and off? JJ: I try to devote my time to my family because I don‟t see them so much. My sister has 3 kids; my daughter just turned 11…so I‟ve been trying to do the family thing. I try to spend time with them. This morning I was swimming with my Niece and nephew before I flew in for the show. I just try to do family stuff. PI: What‟s going to happen in 2011 for Hatebreed? JJ: We‟re going to a new record and hopefully get it out in the fall. We‟re going to do a whole lost cities tour. We want to hit a lot of smaller cities like Memphis, Nashville, a lot of cities in the south, ect. We want to hit a lot of the cities we haven‟t been able to get to on this run. PI: We did an interview not to long ago with Gwar front man Oderus Urungus. We asked him what would be a great tour and he said Slayer, Slipknot, and throw Hatebreed on there. Do you have a response to Oderus? JJ: I would love it. Make it happen! I have such a good time with all the Gwar guys and have nothing but respect for them. I was in Gwar for 2 shows. Not a lot of people know this…I was Bonesnapper. You gotta get in this costume and get covered in all this crap. The stuff doesn‟t wash off for like 6 days and you smell horrible. You have to memorize all these moves and have to be careful you don‟t get your fingers chopped off. You gotta wear a cup because there‟s shit flying everywhere. I‟m like where is the glory? You rock out but a lot of people don‟t know it‟s you in the costume. I don‟t know how they do it? I gotta give them respect…They‟re the real shit. PI: Can we ever expect to see that tour happen? JJ: Who knows? It would be up to the headlining band, not me. PI: Jamey, thanks so much for giving us a chance to get Plug‟d In. JJ: My pleasure, thank you guys so much for the support, I appreciate it!

Spotlight On: American Heroes I love my job, and American Heroes is one of the reasons why. We had the best cheese steak Ive ever had outside of Pats in Philly. Trust me, it was amazing. Just ask Billy if you don‟t believe me. We got to sit down with Owner Josh Husler. Out bellies were nice and full as Josh told us a little bit about the place. PI: We just had the cheese steak with Cheese Whiz. Not a lot of places do it like that. Why do you guys? JH: That‟s the real way to do a cheese steak. Its real Philly style…just like it should be. Other cheeses are good, but that‟s how I grew up eating it. It‟s the way I prefer it and its how we do it. I figured I‟d bring it to Carlisle. PI: We had ours with green peppers and mushrooms which is a little different. What‟s up with that twist? JH: It‟s just one of those things. We were experimenting with some different things, doing different combinations, and we thought it tasted pretty good. Lots of people seem to like it. We put it on the menu and ran with it. PI: How long has American Heroes been established here in Carlisle, Pa.? JH: We‟ve been here about 5 years. It‟s been going real well. It was a little restaurant before us. It‟s been kind of handed down. We fixed up a bunch of things in it. There was a bunch of stuff that was wearing down. The previous owner didn‟t up keep too good. We came in repainted and revamped everything. We put the bar area in and just got some drafts in. We just keep trying to improve on it. Every time we see something we jump right on it and get it fixed up. PI: How did you get your start in the restaurant business? JH: I just kind of happened into it. I came in and a buddy of mine was running the place for the previous owner. I was looking for a part time job and he gave me a couple hours a week. He decided he want to leave and I got the full time work. Eventually the owner decided he wanted to move on and offered it to me. That was that. It just kind of happened. PI: The rolls are so fresh and good here. What‟s the secret? JH: The guy that used to own the place has his own bakery in Harrisburg. It‟s baked fresh every morning. It‟s his mom‟s recipe. It‟s their own personal recipe. They don‟t serve it anywhere else. He goes in at 1 in the morning and starts baking it. I drive down and pick it up around 9am. It‟s fresh out the oven and still nice and warm. I get hungry smelling it in the car.

PI: What is the best seller in here? JH: The cheese steaks and the G9. The G9 is our best selling grinder. We put in the broiler and toast the bread. We melt the cheese over the meat. Its turkey, roast beef, and bacon with American cheese. It‟s all mixed together and awesome. It‟s huge with the college kids around here. They go crazy over it. The military guys down the street at the war college also love it. It‟s been a huge hit for a long time. It flies out of here like crazy. Next time you guys are up you have to try it! PI: What‟s your personal favorite? What do you eat when you‟re here? JH: I‟m a cheese steak lover, so I‟m partial to that. Everything we make is real high quality. All the meats we use…the bread, it‟s all top of the line. We buy the most expensive meats and cheeses you can get. It‟s on the best bread you can find. That‟s how we do it! PI: What‟s next for you guys? JH: We are looking at building a deck here next spring. We gonna do a little extension here and put a wrap around deck and install some more taps. We‟d like to put some tables out there and get a waitress out there. We want to see what we can do with it. We get all these huge car shows up here. We have 50,000+ people drive by the front of our shop, and their looking for a place to drink and eat. Lots of them come in here, but I think adding a deck would bring another dimension to the place. PI: What about some live music in the future? JH: That would be cool. It would go well with the deck. I have the entertainment clause on my license so it might be something I‟ll look into. It is something that I would personally love to do. PI: Thanks for sitting down with us and giving us a chance to get Plug‟d In. JH: Thank you guys so much. Thanks for coming down and I‟m glad you enjoyed the food.

We also want to provide effective and affordable advertising to the businesses' and people that make this community so great. We want to shine a light on the amazing rock/metal scene here in Central Pa. and give the bands a chance to get their music heard and have the opportunity to network with other bands, promoters, venues, and music labels across the Region and the County
