Officially opened in 2007, Stromlo Forest Park is a world-class, multi-use recreational sporting facility available to both recreational and professional users. Stromlo Forest Park boasts a purpose built event pavilion, a 1.2km road criterium cycling circuit, a 2.5km grass cross country running track, a network of equestrian, mountain bike, and running trails to choose from.

When visiting the park please remember

• Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

Please clean up after your dog. • No motorised vehicles of any kind or remote control devices are permitted. • No fires are permitted within the park. • Dogs and bikes are not permitted on the Rob de Castella running track.

Stromlo Running Festival use

While SRF have been granted use of the park for the event, there may be instances where you encounter users unaware of the park event restrictions.

As a matter of courtesy and also for user safety, we employ the international standard regarding user right of way for a shared use facility between horse riders, pedestrians and cyclists. Please take the time to understand your responsibility as a user. Remember to practice social distancing and hand/respiratory hygiene practices if you come into contact with additional park users.
