Wind Cave National Park
The “Shrine of Democracy� attracts nearly 3 million people annually to see the carved 60ft sculptures of presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln representing the first 130 years of the history of the United States. Admission is free. Parking is $11.00 per car and $50.00 for buses. Located on Hwy 244 near the city of Keystone.
Hidden beneath the rolling prairie of the Southern Black Hills is one of the world’s longest caves. Named for barometric winds at its entrance, this complex labyrinth of passages contains a unique formation – boxwork. Located 11 miles north of Hot Springs off US Hwy 385. (605) 745-4600

Devil’s Tower National Monument Designated in 1906, the nation’s first national monument is actually the core of a volcano, and is sacred to tribes with connections to the Black Hills. The Mammoth Site Tour the World’s largest mammoth research facility and experience an active paleontological dig site. Mickelson Trail Completed in September of 1998, its gentle slopes and easy access allows people of all ages and abilities to enjoy its 109 miles and more than 100 converted railroad bridges and 4 rock tunnels.
