All of this activity surrounds beautiful Lake Tahoe, North America’s largest alpine lake and a natural and scenic wonder. Straddling the California/Nevada state line at just over 6000’ above sea level, the lake’s cobalt blue waters reflect the clear blue Sierra skies on over 300 days of sunshine each year. Abundant snowfall comes from recurring storms rolling in off the Pacific, carrying southern moisture and mixing with Arctic air. The result is an LAKE TAHOE - Northern California & Northern Nevada average of over 33 feet (396 inches) of To Redding 5 snowfall per year, exceptional Reno Truckee N E V A D 80 Look inside for Free conditions, and a glorious extended 80 267 TRUCKEE 99 visitor information, maps 395 101 89 season, lasting from mid-November 28 28 and discount coupons!
