GOLF COURSE Several sets of tee boxes, including the SKINS tees that play at nearly 7,200 yards with a rating of 74.4/ 131 slope, or down to 4,998 yards from the forward tees. The dramatic water features coupled with dozens of eye poping bunkers frame the fairways leading to the gently rolling greens. The Golf staff uses a generous 9 minute tee time intervals which allows for a quick pace of play and a more enjoyable round. GOLF COURSE Open in 1985, Desert Falls Country Club’s 18-hole course is challenging, fair, and lends itself to all levels of play. It’s surprisingly hilly for the desert. Heavily trapped with large, multilevel greens. The 7,084-yard, Par 72 course features 5 tee placements on every hole. The course rating is 74.0 with a slope rating of 133 (one of the highest rated courses in the desert). Water is a major factor on seven holes. Three signature holes, including the 18,000 sq. ft. green on number 14.

Either course will guarantee an enjoyable round, friendly service, and all at a reasonable price. The Santa Rosa and San Gorgonio courses are always extremely well maintained, play to a reasonable yardage, and provide a challenge to all levels. They are situated in between the Santa Rosa and San Gorgonio mountain range and at every turn provide breathtaking views.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS From Palm Springs Airport (15 minutes): Turn left onto El Cielo Road, turn left at Ramon Road and travel 6 miles. Merge onto I-10 East and continue for 4.3 miles to the Washington Street exit. Turn left to Del Webb Boulevard and turn right to the gate to the clubhouse. From I-10: Take Exit 137 to Washington Street and head north approximately .5 miles to Del Webb Boulevard and turn right to the gate to the clubhouse.
GOLF COURSE The Santa Rosa and San Gorgonio courses are always extremely well maintained, play to a reasonable yardage, and provide a challenge to all levels. The Santa Rosa course is the more traditional layout with two par 3’s and two par 5’s each side. The San Gorgonio course provides a unique challenge with a front nine that host 4 par 3’s and then a difficult test on the back nine with only one par 3. Both courses play to a yardage of about 6,700 yards from the tips, but can also play as short of 5,200 yards for the new golfer.
FACILITIES Mountain Vista Golf Club offers two golf shops that are fully equipped, one driving range (located at the Santa Rosa course), and a knowledgeable staff.
