During the summer one can walk to the mountains, which I also really enjoy.” Cristina: Languages for Life “I spent a wonderful time here! I learned a lot of German, met a lot of people and had a lot of fun! My teacher was very nice, each lesson was interesting. The books are good and my schoolmates nice. My host family was friendly; my host mother cooked tasty meals and spoke to me a lot. The free-time activities at school took place every day and were very lively; I had something to do every day. Ms Lynch: Private Tuition “I had two teachers who took turns teaching which I found very helpful. I found that they were both creative in their methods of teaching and balanced the time well between speaking, grammar, reading and writing. I felt like I learnt a lot in a short amount of time.” Hannah: Languages for Life “My German improved significantly. The best part of the course was the opportunity to really practice spoken German. I thoroughly enjoyed Munich and Bavaria. I met a number of native Bavarians with whom I was able to practice my German, as well as many students from other countries. There was good interaction between teachers and students. The school was friendly and welcoming. I would definitely go again, my most memorable moments were my fellow students and going to watch Bayern Munich play football!” Mr Farmer: Combined Group Course (20 + 10) “The hard work and personal attention provided by my teachers ensured my time in Munich was 100%o productive. I can’t believe I covered so much ground in just 2 weeks.”

Kay: Standard Course “The lessons were very good and as my confidence with the language grew I began to forget that I was learning. The lessons were very interesting and varied. The school’s location was excellent; everything was nearby including the bus stop. The teachers were very friendly and approachable; I felt very comfortable and at home and the teachers made everyone feel very involved. The best parts of my course were meeting other students, enjoyable lessons, the social life and the wonderful family I stayed with.” Mr Abra: Intensive Course “The school is very good and all the staff were very approachable. My wife, who is an Assistant Director of a school in Cambridge that teaches English spent half a day at the school and had the same positive impression as I did. Lindau is definitely the right location for a language school. Everything about the course was good I can’t think of any bad parts.” Course Start Dates Standard, Intensive & Combined Courses. Jan: Standard Course “I’d go back to Cologne in a heart beat! It’s the greatest city in the world, the memories made and the experience I had are incredible. If you want to really immerse yourself in Germany and truly master the German language, just go. I honestly feel that my language course in Cologne has changed my life.” Steven: Languages for Life “The college staff were tremendous, so supportive and always willing to help. As a beginner, with no prior language skills I needed a lot of help in the first few weeks. Small classes and personal attention ensured quick results, and whilst I wouldn’t say I’m fluent yet, I can now understand and actively participate in general conversations, follow German TV and understand most info in newspapers articles!” Mrs James: Combined Group Course (20 + 5) “Our teachers expected us to work hard – that was fine with me, that was what I was paying for. Even so, I can’t believe I covered so much ground in just 2 weeks and on top of that was able to visit the fantastic museums and attend the theatre. Thanks to everyone at CESA who helped make this possible. It was a memorable and totally rewarding trip.”

Jenny : Ski Instructor’s Course "CESA were great and all the information provided was very helpful. Passing the exam and wearing the ski instructor’s uniform for the first time are probably my most memorable moments. Also the achievement of getting through your first lessons as an instructor." Joanna : German & Ski Course “Having to pack up on the Saturday and fly home to the UK was hard – the slopes were still calling as I headed back to Munich. If I get the chance to go next season I certainly will. Frankly if you want to stretch your German skills beyond the typical, “Wiener Schnitzel und ein Bier bitte” then I’d recommend you invest in a week in Kitzbühel. It was fun, I loved the people and the German lessons really worked for me!.”

Sarah: Standard Course “I especially liked my teacher, Daniela but all the teachers were excellent and used humour in helping us improve their German and really enjoyed Thomas and his tours in Hofburg and Ring were excellent.. A perfect balance, I was delighted with my experience. I met some amazing people; I was in a fascinating city, and being taught at a great school.” Jane : Languages for Life “The lessons were good and the teaching was fun. Everyone was so kind and the staff understand students are not only there to learn the language but also to get to know the people and the city. I so many chances to speak German and was really pleased with my grammar progress.”
