SEBASTIAN BERGNE Il étudie le design industriel à la Central St Martin School puis au Royal College of Arts à Londres dont il est diplômé. En 1990, il ouvre son agence et collabore dans la foulée avec des marques comme Authentics, Tolix, Eno, Tefal, Muji, De Beers, Lexon, Habitat ou bien encore Vitra. Il réfléchit la démarche et définit le style pour proposer une grande variété de typologies d’objets comme autant de réponses aux problématiques du design actuel.

SEBASTIAN BERGNE He studied industrial design at the Central St Martin School and subsequently at the Royal College of Art in London from which he is a graduate. In 1990, he opened his agency and went on to work with brands such Authentics, Tolix, Eno, Tefal, Muji, De Beers, Lexon, Habitat or Vitra. He refined his approach and defined his style to propose a wide variety of item types offering varied responses to current design challenges.
LAURENCE BRABANT Diplômée de l’école Duperré à Paris, elle obtient une bourse du Fiacre pour son projet de recherches “Objets Inanimés” et auto-édite ses créations en verre soufflé. Ses pièces, “Petites leçons de choses”, rejoindront le Fnac, Fonds National d’Art Contemporain. En résidence à la Villa Kujoyama à Kyoto au Japon, elle développe en partenariat avec Baccarat le projet “Manufacture”. Elle maîtrise l’art de la transparence, le verre et le cristal, bouscule les arts de la table avec poésie, crée des luminaires sur mesure et des pièces uniques. Elle collabore notamment avec Véronèse, Christian Tortu, Salviati, Cristallerie Saint Louis, Louis Vuitton, Galeries Lafayette, Glenmorangie, Baccarat et Starck pour J.-P. Gaultier.
LAURENCE BRABANT A graduate of the Duperré School in Paris, she obtained a Fiacre scholarship for her research project “Inanimate Objects” and self-published her blown glass designs. Her “Petites leçons de choses” pieces, will be joining the Fnac, (National Contemporary Art Collection). On a resident artist’s placement at the Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto (Japan), in partnership with Baccarat she developed the “Manu-facture” project. She is particularly skilled in transparency, glass and crystal, making a name for herself in the fields of the table arts with a poetic flair, creating tailored lighting solutions and unique pieces. Among others, she works with Véronèse, Christian Tortu, Salviati, Cristallerie Saint Louis, Louis Vuitton, Galeries Lafayette, Glenmorangie, Baccarat and Starck for J.-P. Gaultier.
NICOLAS DAUL & JULIEN DEMANCHE Diplômés de Camondo en 2007, ces architectes d’intérieur et designers commencent par créer chacun leur propre studio avant d’unir leurs savoir-faire complémentaires sur différents projets. Intervenant aussi bien en qualité d’architecte d’intérieur que sur le design de produits d’environnement, leurs expériences respectives (hôtel Hannong, restaurant l’Âge d’or, Prix Émile Hermès, Lancôme ou des projets pour des particuliers) les amènent à proposer des réponses fonctionnelles, voire de multiples approches d’utilisation grâce à des innovations techniques.

NICOLAS DAUL & JULIEN DEMANCHE As graduates from Camondo in 2007, these interior designers began by each setting up their own studios before pooling their complementary know-how on various projects. Involved as both interior designers and environmental product designers, their respective experience (including the Hannong hotel, the Âge d’or restaurant, Prix Émile Hermès, Lancôme or projects for private clients) have seen them proposing functional solutions or even multiple use approaches thanks to their flair for technical innovation.
N OÉ D U CHAU F OU R-LAWRAN CE Un double cursus : l’École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d’art, et les Arts décoratifs de Paris. En 2002, il signe l’architecture intérieure du restaurant Sketch à Londres qui assure sa notoriété. En 2007, Maison & Objet en fait le créateur de l’année “Scènes d’intérieur”. La souplesse, la fluidité, les formes naturelles lui inspirent un vocabulaire organique, qu’il décline au gré du mobilier qu’il signe pour Ceccotti Collezioni, Zanotta, Cinna… et des espaces qu’il aménage : le restaurant Senderens à Paris, le Maya Bar à Monaco, la Galerie BSL à Paris ou, prochainement, le restaurant “Le Ciel de Paris” au 56e étage de la Tour Montparnasse. Lauréat de “L’Empreinte de l’Année” des “Talents du luxe et de la création 2010”.
N O É D U C H AU F O U R - L AW R A N C E This artist can boast a twofold educational route including the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d’art, and Arts décoratifs de Paris. In 2002, he handled the interior design for the Sketch restaurant in London which built his reputation. In 2007, Maison & Objet made him its “Scènes d’intérieur” designer of the year. Flexibility, fluidity and natural shapes inspire him to adopt a decidedly organic visual code, which he instils in the furniture he designs for Ceccotti Collezioni, Zanotta or Cinna and in his interior design projects including: the Senderens restaurant in Paris, the Maya Bar in Monaco, the Galerie BSL in Paris or (shortly) the “Le Ciel de Paris” restaurant on the 56th floor of Tour Montparnasse. Winner of the “Empreinte de l’Année” award at “Talents du luxe et de la création 2010”.
ÉLISE FOUIN Diplômée de l’École Boulle, “Talent à la carte” du salon Maison & Objets en 2010, elle balance entre art et design. Elle privilégie la matière à l’objet, la récupère, la détourne pour mieux la réinventer. Qu’il s’agisse d’espaces, de produits ou de mobilier, son travail s’inscrit dans une démarche poétique et de développement durable, qui valorise la matière “dernière” pour qu’elle devienne matière “première”. Reconnue pour son travail sur le papier et la lumière, elle a exposé à la ToolsGallery et à la Granville Gallery et développe maintenant des projets pour des marques du luxe.

ÉLISE FOUIN As a graduate of the Ecole Boulle, named “Talent à la carte” at the Maison & Objets show in 2010, she skilfully combines both art and design. She has a marked preference for the materials over the items themselves, reclaiming them and reusing them with the aim of constantly being able to reinvent them more effectively. Whether we are talking about space, products or furniture, her work is underpinned by a poetic spirit and a commitment to sustainable development, reusing recycled and recovered materials as her raw material. Recognised for her work with paper and with lighting, she has exhibited at the ToolsGalerie and at the Granville Gallery, and is now producing projects for luxury brands.

EMMANUEL GALLINA Il aborde le design avec élégance, évidence et simplicité. Diplômé de l’Enad et de l’Iav, il obtient ensuite un master en design et management au Politecnico de Milan où il enseigne actuellement. Durant 7 ans, il exerce auprès d’Antonio Citterio pour les plus grands noms du design international avant de créer sa propre agence. À présent, il collabore et signe ses produits pour des marques telles que Poliform, Fast, Rotaliana, Manade, Toulemonde Bochart… Depuis 2010, il conseille, en qualité de directeur artistique, différentes entreprises parmi lesquelles Carl Zeiss Vision, Clen. Riche d’une expérience de designer industriel, les écoles apprécient ses interventions en tant que médiateur entre l’école et l’entreprise ce qui l’amène à être souvent sollicité pour tenir des conférences sur les différents continents.
EMMANUEL GALLINA He approaches the design with elegance, demonstrativeness and simplicity. A graduate of the Enad and the Iav, he went on to obtain a Masters in design and management at the Politecnico of Milan, where he currently teaches. For seven years, he worked at Antonio Citterio for some of the greatest names in international design before setting up his own agency. He currently works with and produces products for brands such as Poliform, Fast, Rotaliana, Manade and Toulemonde Bochart. Since 2010, he has advised various companies including Carl Zeiss Vision and Clen in his capacity as an artistic director. Benefiting from his experience as an industrial designer, the schools appreciate his involvement as an “interface” between the school and outside companies, which means that he is often asked to give conferences all around the world.
CHRISTIAN GHION Après cinq ans de droit, il s’inscrit à l’école d’Architecture de Paris-Conflans puis intègre l’Ensci. Diplômé en design, il fonde un studio de création avec Patrick Nadeau avant de se lancer en solo. Ses créations sont éditées par Cappellini, Driade, Daum, Salviati, xO… Et il signe aussi bien des bijoux pour le joaillier Fred que de nombreuses scénographies d’expositions et des aménagements intérieurs (les restaurants Le Gaya à Paris et Pierre Gagnaire Tokyo). Il a présenté récemment à la galerie Cat Berro, une collection de vingt-cinq vases en verre soufflé. Il vient de dessiner une collection de couteaux pour Nontron dont il est directeur artistique. BASILE HUEZ Pendant ses études – École de Design de Nantes et Ravensbourne college of design and communication – il fait ses classes auprès des architectes J.-M. Wilmotte et C. Biecher puis, diplôme en poche, décide de voler de ses propres ailes et collabore de nombreuses années avec Christian Ghion sur différents projets. 10

CHRISTIAN GHION After five years spent studying law, he enrolled at the Paris-Conflans School of architecture before joining the Ensci. A design graduate, he founded a design studio along with Patrick Nadeau before going solo. At the Cat Berro gallery he recently presented a collection of twenty-five blown glass vases. He has recently designed the knife collection for Nontron for whom he is the artistic manager. BASILE HUEZ During his studies at the Nantes School of design and Ravensbourne college of design and communication, he studied with the architects J.-M. Wilmotte and C. Biecher. After graduation, he decided to strike out on his own and worked for a number of years with Christian Ghion on numerous projects.
ARIK LEVY Designer, technicien, artiste, photographe, réalisateur… les talents de Levy sont multiples et ses œuvres sont exposées dans des galeries et des musées parmi les plus prestigieux au monde. D’abord connu pour ses projets dans le domaine du mobilier, ainsi que pour ses installations et ses créations en série limitée, Arik Levy continue d’avoir un impact substantiel sur notre milieu intérieur et extérieur. Originaire d’Israël et diplômé en design industriel du Art Center Europe, il travaille actuellement à Paris avec son équipe de vingt designers et graphistes au sein de son studio Ldesign. Grâce à sa vision et à celle de son associé, Pippo Lionni, le studio s’occupe aussi bien de projets d’identité visuelle, signalétique et packaging, que de scénographies d’exposition et aménagements d’intérieur. Il collabore notamment avec Vitra, Molteni & C., Baccarat, Emu, Guzzini, Hennessy, Desalto, Swarovski, Viccarbe, Issey Miyake Parfums…
ARIK LEVY As a designer, technician, artist, photographer and producer, Levy is a multitalented all-rounder and his work is exhibited in some of the world’s most prestigious galleries and museums. Initially known for his projects in the furniture sector in addition to his limited edition designs and displays, Arik Levy continues to have a major impact on our interior and exterior environment. Originating from Israel, and a graduate in industrial design from the Art Center Europe, he currently works in Paris with his team of twenty designers and graphical artists in his studio Ldesign. Thanks to his vision and that of his partner Pippo Lionni, the studio handles projects in the fields of visual identity, signposting and packaging in addition to exhibition scenery and interior design. Among others he works with Vitra, Molteni & C., Baccarat, Emu, Guzzini, Hennessy, Desalto, Swarovski, Viccarbe and Issey Miyake Perfumes…
NEIL POULTON Diplômé en design industriel après ses études à l’université Napler d’Edinburgh, il obtient ensuite un Master à la Domus Academy de Milan avec le parrainage d’Andrea Branzi et d’Alberto Meda. Il développe des produits destinés à la production de masse, maîtrise l’éclairage et la haute technologie, collabore avec de nombreuses marques internationales, LaCie, Artemide, Megalit, Atelier Sedap, Danese Milano… Ses créations lui ont valu de nombreux prix de design internationaux, ses “ageing pens” ont été exposés au Victoria and Albert Museum de Londres, au Centre national d’art et de culture Georges Pompidou à Paris. En 2007, ce dernier a acquis pour ses collections permanentes, six objets dessinés par Neil Poulton.

NEIL POULTON Graduating in industrial design after his studies at Napler University in Edinburgh, he went on to obtain a Masters at the Domus Academy in Milan with the support of Andréa Branzi and Alberto Meda. He develops products intended for mass production, skilfully combining lighting and high technology, and working with numerous international brands including: LaCie, Artemide, Megalit, Atelier Sedap, Danese Milano, etc. His designs have earned him several international design prizes and his “ageing pens” have been exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and at the Georges Pompidou national centre for arts and culture in Paris. In 2007, the latter acquired for its permanent collections, six items designed by Neil Poulton.
