Bear Down! Wildcats Win! Last Saturday, CESL sent a group of sports fans to see the UofA football team play Oregon State at Arizona Stadium. The students were not disappointed, as they saw the Wildcats trounce the Beavers 49-28, sending Arizona to their seventh win of the season. UofA Quarterback and Heisman candidate (award for best player in college football) Khalil Tate ran for 206 yards and two touchdowns, much to the delight of our students. Check out more pics below.

Student Spotlight! CESL student worker Hady sat down with a CESL student to ask him some questions. Name: Kevin Anthonioz-Blanc Hometown: Annecy, France
Level: 6 Interviewed by: Hady Mambo
What is your major? My high school diploma was in woodworking, but I want to change my major to management. Why is that? Because I am interested in business, and even though I like woodworking, it is a lot of physical labor and I do not aim to do that as a career. Why management? My father is a businessman and I got inspired by him. He has been very successful and I want to be just like him. I want to study here at the UofA Eller College of Management. I already see myself there. What do you like the most in your city? I like the fact that every season has its way of having fun. I like outdoor activities. For instance, during the winter I like to go skiing.
Hady & Kevin
What is the most traditional food there, and can you make it? The most traditional food in my hometown is fondue savoyarde. It is a delicious dish with bread, cheese, and white wine. Of course I can make it, I’m French. đ&#x;˜Ž Why did you choose Tucson over any other city in the US? I chose the UofA because it has a good reputation in regards to its educational system and basketball. I am actually a basketball player. I used to play in a club for my city and started playing basketball when I was 14 years old. Any parting advice for CESL students? Tucson is a nice place to study, and it is not very expensive compared to other places in the US. I would say to other students that missing class might feel normal, but you are really only hurting yourself by doing that. Thanks, Kevin!

Student Spotlight! CESL student worker Haibo sat down with a CESL student to ask him some questions. Name: Hamad Aloud Hometown: Kuwait City, Kuwait
Level: 7 Interviewed by: Haibo Sun
Hi, Hamad. Can you tell us something about yourself? Sure. I am a realistic person who enjoys meeting new people and trying to help others. What do you usually do when you meet a new friend? We might go bowling or have dinner together. My hobbies right now are bowling and vaping. I built my own vaporizer. What types of food do you like to eat? I like burgers and pizza, because they are delicious and easy to eat! Do you have a favorite burger place in Tucson? Yeah, it is called Diablo Burger and is located on East Congress Street.
Hamad & Haibo
Do you usually cook for yourself or eat in restaurants? I usually cook more by myself. I like to cook pasta and burgers. What made you come to CESL? Because Tucson is cheap to live in, and the university has a good reputation. Will you study at the University of Arizona? Nope, I will hopefully be studying at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. Okay, I see. What field do you want to work in when you graduate? It does not really matter to me as long as I get a degree. I really want to work in a coffee company because I like coffee so much. ☕ đ&#x;˜? ☕ Thank you very much for the interview. Is there anything else you want to share with fellow students? Never give up your goals, and never take shortcuts. This will make you closer to your dream.
