STUDENT SPOTLIGHT! Every week we will interview two CESL Students. If you are willing to be interviewed, talk to the Student Workers in the Student Learning Center
Name: Fahad Alnujaimah Hometown: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Age: 20 years old Level: 60 at CESL What can you tell me about Jeddah? It is a different city, a lot of people say it does not belong in Saudi Arabia because of its different mentality. It is a coast city, on the Red Sea coast. It has about 2 - 3 million people. How long have you been in Tucson? This is my second semester, I did spring II session. What did you do over the summer? I went back to Saudi Arabia to visit family and had Ramadan and Eid there, watched the world cup, hung out with friends. What team do you support? I have a lot of teams I support, but my favorite is my local team Al Hilal and Barcelona. If I went to Saudi Arabia what would you suggest I do? Offroading in the desert in a 4x4 is really fun, but if you don't have the skills you will get stuck. I might also recommend camping in the desert. What are some of your hobbies? Swimming, soccer, chess, photography, traveling & I am a gamer. What games do you like? WOW, FIFA, I use to play Call of Duty and I like adventure games What are some of your favorite places you have been traveling? Around Europe - France, Spain, Germany, Italy. South Africa, Malaysia, Syria... etc. What do you think of Tucson? It is a quiet city, of course the weather reminds me of my country and I like most of the people. Where do you want to visit in the USA? I want to have a road trip with my friends because I usually fly because my father is a pilot, so I would like to drive to LA, Las Vegas, Miami, NYC and I want to head North. I don't know where but I want to see ice! Now the most important question; If you had to choose between flying and invisibility which would you choose and why? I would choose flying because I want to study aviation! CESL WEEKLY NEWSLETTER
