Name: Hady mambo Where are you from? Luanda, Angola How old are you? 20 Do you have brothers or sisters? Four brothers, four sisters. What are your hobbies? Playing piano, sing songs and talk with my friends. What inspired you to be a musician. Andrea Bocelli and IL Divo inspired me, for singing but for piano my inspiration is Lang Lang. How do you do to understand them if their signing is not in Portuguese? The language of music is universal, if you don't feel that you don't understand music, but most of the time I translate the lyrics to my language. Favorite artist. IL Divo. Favorite song of them. Mama What is your level at CESL? 40 Favorite class at CESL. Reading. College major. Electronic engineering. One word to describe yourself: Melodical. What do you like the most about CESL? The environment, the teachers, and the rules are not hard to follow. What do you like the most about Tucson? The silence of the city
Name: Elizabeth Roger. Where are you from? Barranquilla, Colombia. How old are you? 34. Profession in Colombia. I am an English and Spanish teacher. What do you like the most about teaching? Talk to the different kind of students we have and share different activities with them. What is your level at CESL? 40 Favorite class at CESL. Writing. Why? Because I am not a good writer, my teacher has helped me a lot improving my skills. How does it feel to be a student again instead of a teacher? Its funny because sometimes I feel strange because I am sitting down most of the time and I have to follow instructions. I understand my students now when I leave a lot of homework. What do you like the most about CESL? The different cultures they have and learn about them. What are your hobbies? Read and listen to music. What is your favorite book? “Juventud en extasis” from Carlos Cuauhtémoc Sanchez, a Mexican writer. What do you like about this book? Its easy to read and it reflects the reality about young people. What do you the weekends at Tucson? Go to mall, go to parties with my Brazilian and Chinese classmates.
