Where did you go to university and what did you study there? I finished my bachelors in Peru, and I studied Translation and Interpretation in English, Spanish and French and a minor in Language Teaching. I have been in Tucson for 4 years for my master’s, and another two years here in CESL. Why did you choose Tucson/CESL? I chose Tucson because my sister lives here. I have studied not only the grammar, but the culture and the many different things about English. What is one of the funniest thing that has happened to you? I sat on a bee once! What is the biggest personal change you have ever made? It was when I moved to Honduras. I finished my bachelors degree, and soon after that I got my first job. I got married and I moved to Honduras in only 15 months. What is the most money you have ever given away? When I was living in Honduras, I was president of The Peruvian Association. We would do a lot of charity events, so we would make events for fun, and we would give money to hospitals and sometimes also to individuals that worried me.
