Name:
Benjamin, Gao Ming
Hometown:
China, the town of Zhengzhou. It is a big town.
Are all towns in China big? No, actually I was born in a small town and then I moved in middle school to the big city. I practiced kung-fu there for a summer because that was the culture. Awesome! How long have you been in Tucson? I have been here for 2 weeks, I am studying in level 40. Do you plan to stay here to study after CESL? Yes, I want to go to the University and maybe study business or Computer Science because that is good for jobs. I am not sure which one I will study. Is this your first time to the U.S.? No, when I was younger my family took a vacation for 20 days and visited all of the United States. My favorite part was San Francisco! What do you think about the American Food? It is interesting, I like to cook but also one of my favorite places to go is Jack in the Box. I like the egg rolls and rice dish there. What hobbies do you have? I like listening to music, swimming (sometimes for exercise but mostly for fun) and also I play the piano. Would you rather be invisible or be able to fly? I would rather fly, because I could visit my home whenever I want. Is there anything you really want to do while you are here in America? I told my father before I left that I will try Skydiving, it sounds exciting and I like to do exciting things. What are some adjectives to describe yourself? I am energetic and also excited about life!
