Name:
Fatemh Alsayegh
Age:
18
Level:
50
Hometown:
Mubarak Alkabeer, Kuwait
How long have you been in the U.S.? I have been here since December, so about 6 months. I like it here; it is quiet and comfortable. How does it compare to your hometown in Kuwait? It is hotter here, but not as dusty. Americans are also very friendly and open-minded. Kuwaitis have very good hospitality, but Americans smile more. What do you hope to do at the university? I want to study computer engineering at the university; the engineering program is one of the best. I am not very good at math, but I like computers so I am willing to work very hard to succeed. Very cool! Is one of your hobbies rebuilding computers? No, I am more interested in computer software, not hardware. I like writing code into my computers. So, if I wanted a computer, what computer would you recommend?
Interviewed by
 Ann Turinawe
Apple, because you do not need anti-virus and they last a long time. Besides working on computers, what else do you like to do in your spare time in Tucson? I do not have a TV so that I can focus on school, so I like to explore Tucson. I like visiting 4th Avenue and Tucson Mall, anything with good food. That’s awesome; that is the best way to learn English. What type of food is your favorite? I really like American food like burgers and pizza. Steak is my favorite I love a good burger, too! What is something that you would like others to know about you? I do not smile a lot, but I am very friendly!
