BEAUTY
BUZZ ! Are you ready….?? By C.A.
It is summer. What are your summer beauty trends? The summer trends are ushering a more sophisticated and lassiez-faire take on beauty. Here are a few break downs: . A. MAKEUP 1) The Smudge Eye. How about another take of the classic smoky eye but more darling? The smudge eye and a combination of the classic smokey eye mixed with a slight gloss onto of the shadow. This trend can be seen on the runways of Balmain, Altuzarra, Christopher Kane, and Rag & Bone. 2) Blush Lipstick. Instead of the tradition compact blush application, try applying a light red or blush color lipstick on your cheeks. This trend can be seen on the runway of Kenzo.
3) Natural My Way. To look this gorgeous with nomakeup-makeup is all about technique. It is seriously too hot to be piling the face with unwanted makeup. The trend can be seen on the runways of Alexander Wang and Anna Sui.
19 C’est Moi Magazine
.......
B. HAIR 1) Boho Hair. This summer is all about the messy, loose braids. Give your braids a chic yet second thought. This hair is all about being relaxed while looking sexy at the same time. The trend can be seen on runways of Valentino, Kenzo, and Dior. . 2) Hair Jewelry. Accessorize your hair with some glow and jewelry. Jazz up your that boring hair and be the bell of the ball. This trend can be seen on the runways of Altuzarra, Gucci, and Bottega Veneta. 3) Power- To- The Afro. Instead of a wash-and-go, how about to you just let your hair go and feel free with the breeze helping to shape your hair?! This spring, it is all about the diversity, the freedom, and the beauty of hair. This trend can be seen on the runways of: Coach and Proenza Schouler.

“ROEE. On the border between art and merchantability.” The nature of symmetry mixed with an optimistic view of the future. Where elaborate workmanship meets with high-quality, well selected fabrics, where graphic lines have a playful feel. It is a sustainable and transparent production. Every piece of ROEE is designed and produced in Vienna and in the E.U. ROEE was founded on the 28th of November, 2013, by Rene Pomberger (Design) and Michael Maierhofer (Management) with two separate intentions. The designer’s wish was to be creatively autonomous, while the manager’s life goal was to be financially independent. Two components, that are somewhat opposite, but both portrayed a desire for freedom. This is what the brand ROEE stands for. ROEE’s motto is to create a peaceful refuge, despite constant outer influences. In the first seven collections, ROEE attempted to achieve merchantability with Avant garde fashion, which was attained to a certain extent by compromising, and led the design duo to a new concept away from producing seasonal collections. Since the beginning of 2016, they are focusing on two main ideals which are to create annual collections where art and sales are separated. The first collection is the Couture Line, which is mainly about beauty and pushing the designer’s craft to the maximum. ROEE takes the freedom of ignoring basic human needs, such as being able to sit down, and breaks it down into pieces. To be able to afford this extravagance, they have created the second collection, their Streetwear Line, which is based on a mixture of top selling pieces from their past collections. To grow organically and become a stable, established brand, was always the duo’s main objective. They began with the German-speaking market to play it safe, and have finally reached the point of experience where they are ready to take on the rest of the world.

Dami Im
On October 17 1988, came into the world. She was born in Seoul, South Korea. At the age of five, Dami taught herself how to sing by listening to her favorite singers while recording herself at the same time just to hear how she sounded. She gained her love of music from her mother who was an opera singer. At the age of nine, she immigrated with her family to Australia for the hopes of a better life and better opportunities. In 2013, she gained the X Factor bug. She auditioned for the fifth season of X Factor Australia winning herself a position by singing “Hero” by Mariah Carey. She became fan and judge favorite that it is no surprise she won her place with other X Factor Alumni. After winning X Factor Australia, she received a recording contract with Sony Music Australia. She began recording her first single “Alive” which was released on ITunes and debuted as number one on the Australian Recording Industry Association. Can you believe her single also gained platinum status by selling over 70,000 copies? Well, she did ask the Australian Recording Industry Association.
It doesn’t end there. On March 3, 2016 Dami was selected to represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest. This was a momentous occasion due to the fact this was the first time Australia has ever reached the finals and won second place. Following her second place win, Dami released her single “Sound of Silence” which reached number 3 on the Australian Recording Industry Association and received two Gold certifications from the Australian Recording Industry Association and the Swedish Recording Industry Association. As you can see, hard work and determination pays off. We look forward to hearing more from Dami because in 2017 her light is not dimming any time soon. C’est Moi Magazine 166

aldives is a South Asian island country situated in the Arabian Sea. It is located between India and Sri Lanka and encompass 115 square miles of territory. Male, also known as the “King’s Island”, is the capital city and, like most growing cites, is the most populated capital. Since the fourh century BC, Maldives has been linked to India. With their strong ties to Africa and to India, their population increased.
Unfortunately, the history of Maldives is unknown due to lack of information left by the first settlers but after 483BC, the rise of Buddhism helped to mark the beginning of history in Maldives. Buddhism took its place among Hinduism that ran supreme among the early settlers. In the 12th century BC, as an acknowledgement to the Arab merchants that were prominent traders in the Indian Ocean, Islam became the main religion in the country. The last Buddhist king of Maldives adopted the Muslim title, Sultan Muhammad al Adil. The increase of tourism to this once unknown country has helped increase employment opportunities. So what adventures can you get into you ask? Well, let us show you. Water Sports/Manta Point

Manish Kumar Arora is a renowned KP Astrologer, Numerologist, Tarot Reader & Vastu Consultant. He has been rendering professional advice to clients with a reasonable degree of success. He has been conferred with the title of 'Jyotish Varahamihir' and 'Jyotish Aryabhatt.' He has been writing monthly astrological columns for many international magazines. We are excited to welcome Mr. Manish Kumar Arora to C’est Moi Magazine. Are you excited for your June predictions?!
Aries (21 March – 19 April) You are more able to accomplish something solid this month. You will gain a greater depth of understanding, having focused on information and communication that you really can use to feel more effective in the world. You may seem more focused, driven, ambitious, and disciplined. Your self esteem may be higher, and you feel more in touch with your senses. Sexual opportunities are likely to abound, or your focus on one partner becomes more expansive, warm, and intimate. Some partnerships may be tested, but there is nothing to fear if the relationship is strong. Favorable Dates: June 1, 2, 10, 11, 19, 20 Favorable Colors: White & Green Taurus (20 April – 20 May) This is a time of increased psychological understanding, intimacy, and perhaps accumulation of wealth if you manage your resources well. It’s a month in which you rediscover your roots and work on loving yourself from the bottom up. You are more capable of helping friends and loved ones who are dealing with a crisis. Any type of in-depth study or research is likely to go well. Much joy may be found in your family and your home life during this cycle. An increased sense of security and safety may be derived from your domestic life. Favorable Dates: June 2, 5, 11, 14, 20, 23 Favorable Colors: White & Blue

.......
Gemini (21 May – 20 June)
You are likely to have new or increased responsibilities this month, and it might take some time to get adjusted to them. Your ego may be a little frail at this point, and, as a result, you may be harder on yourself than you need be. You are remarkably introspective at this time, perhaps isolating yourself from worldly activities and acquaintances in some manner. You may be attracted to alternate ways of living, and to selfstudy fields, such as psychoanalysis. You also need to watch for being vulnerable to people with bad intentions. Favorable Dates: June 3, 8, 12, 17, 21, 26 Favorable Colors: White & Yellow Cancer (21 June – 22 July) You begin this month likely riding a surge in energy. This period will bring a time for you to make more money and to find new ways to build financial security. You have an easier time communicating with people, dealing with intellectual matters, dealing with siblings, or your community. Intimacy is delightfully complicated this month as you incorporate fantasy and acceptance into this part of your life. You are likely to feel more confident about yourself on an intimate level, and perhaps put more faith into a partner. Favorable Dates: June 3, 5, 12, 14, 21, 23 Favorable Colors: Blue & Red Leo (23 July – 22 August) You may receive a cosmic push towards expressing yourself more creatively and experience an increased drive to take charge of your life. You may be focusing on communications, but halfway through the month you'll likely be spending more time at home dealing with your family, or improving your living situation. You’re also more emotional, especially when it comes to what people think about you, and your self-esteem may fluctuate greatly. You’re also emotionally tied to your physical possessions. Many of you will deepen your commitment to a significant other. Favorable Dates: June 1, 2, 10, 11, 19, 20 Favorable Colors: White & Red C’est Moi Magazine 174
ZODIAC C’EST MOI Virgo (23 August – 22 September) You’re open to a certain amount of change and progress in June, and thus attract interesting and sometimes unusual events into your life. Connections with a broader set of people and experiences can be the catalysts for your changing, more open-minded personal philosophy. Your hobbies can be out of the ordinary, and so can your relationships with children and lovers. If you’re attached, it’s good to make it feel like it did when you first began dating. If single, you may find it easier to meet people and have more suitors than usual. Favorable Dates: June 6, 9, 15, 18, 24, 27 Favorable Colors: Blue & Red Libra (23 September – 22 October) This is a time when you free yourself of personal inhibitions that may have been part of your life in the past. It’s a time of more spontaneous expression. You want to spend more time with loved ones, the people that you’re closest to, and spend less time alone. You can mend any problems in your relationships, and it’s good for forming a new partnership or negotiating contracts. You could also be more attracted to other cultures and foreign lands. You may start a new writing project, or begin a new course. Favorable Dates: June 2, 7, 11, 16, 20, 25 Favorable Colors: Yellow & Grey Scorpio (23 October – 21 November) A few doors open to you as you express yourself more spontaneously this month. Some of you will be taking a casual romance to an entirely new level. Money from others or from outside sources is much improved in this period. Non-tangible support is also abundant–assistance from others comes easily. You seem to be open to taking relationships to the next level or being open to spending more time with someone that could be potentially someone serious. All round happiness can be the reward from your loved ones and associates Favorable Dates: June 4, 9, 13, 18, 22, 27 Favorable Colors: Yellow & Blue Sagittarius (22 November - 21 December) You are more productive, with a responsible and sometimes even somber outlook. Although you have a desire to make contacts, you are now rather preoccupied with learning or producing. Your self-image is being re-worked, and you are becoming more sensitive to a greater, perhaps more spiritual, sense of purpose. One of the key elements of success this month involves humbling yourself to the advice of older persons, authority figures, or parents. These will help you further your goals and a non-defensive reaction will allow you to listen and take out of it what works for you. Favorable Dates: June 4, 5, 13, 14, 22, 23 Favorable Colors: White & Grey 175 C’est Moi Magazine
....... Capricorn (22 December – 19 January) You’ll work harder to secure your financial future and make plans to improve your financial status. You may take on more work solely for the purpose of making more money. This is a period where you need to be a saver, not a spender.
