Sometimes I wonder how many people love fantasy and fashion, as much as me? I also wonder how many people admire beautiful outfits and dresses showcased in fantasy movies? Costumes always represent to me an important element in movies. Costumes create a dream-like effect which allows for an outer-worldly experience. Well halloween is coming soon. Let us try to adjust and apply some elements in our contemporary, everyday style. Here are some examples of characters with well-known style of fantasy outfits. Try to imagine their contemporary alternatives!

Cinderella’s Blue Ball Gown. Layers and layers of glittering fabrics create a great impression of the Cinderella dress featured in the 2015 movie. You may not be able to wear this kind of dress or style everyday, but you are still able to borrow the color or type of dress for special occassions. .

Stepmother’s Glamour. As we know, Cate Blanchett played the role of Cinderella's evil stepmother. With the incarnation of glamour, she never appeared without a scarlet pout, corset dresses, and attractive oversize hats. Some of these elemets will look really interesting in casual style or in evening outfits.

Presenting

KIIARA 127 C’est Moi Magazine

Presenting

Kiara Saulters, known simply as Illinois.

.......

Kiiara, was born on May 24 1995 in Wilmington,

D

She was a typical teen with the dream of doing what she loved to do, which was music. To get her feet wet, she interned at a local studio which helped her know the ins and outs of being in the studio, working as an artist, and the hard work it takes to bring an album together. Her hard work paid off. In June 2015, she released her first solo acoustic single, “Bring Me Back” which helped land her a contract with Atlantic Records. That same year, she released her best single yet, “Gold”. The single gained even more acclaim when it was used for an Apple Watch commercial. The songs circulation moved to a massive wave when it hit 13 on the Billboard Top 100. You thought that was all? In 2016, she began to work with major artists like Linking Park. She was featured in Linking Park’s single, “Heavy”. This single also helped open some more exciting doors. Can we say a live performance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon….?! There is no stopping her. We look forward to seeing more of what she has in store for us. As Agnez Mo has being known to say, “DREAM.BELIEVE.and MAKE IT HAPPEN”.

Aries (21 March – 19 April) You will pursue your personal desires in a responsible and methodical manner. You have strong ambitions and may be domineering if threatened. You would be inventive and will use your unique talents well. People will get attracted to your easygoing sense of individuality. You will be interested in out of the ordinary pursuits. Something from the past could emerge that frustrates you or there could be interactions today that begin with good intentions, but that go too far and end up in hurt feelings or frustrations. Favorable Dates: April 2, 3, 11, 12, 20, 21 Favorable Colors: Red & Purple Taurus (20 April – 20 May) This is a good period for getting in touch with innermost needs and desires. You will not enjoy complex or complicated situations, preferring clarity and certainty in your life. But part of you seems to be drawn to some level of emotional chaos, drama, or complexity these days. This month can find you a little introspective and craving a deeper connection to someone or to yourself. In many ways you have been coasting along, but now you may be identifying problems and looking for answers to recent complicated feelings or events. Favorable Dates: April 1, 7, 10, 11, 19, 25 Favorable Colors: Brown & White

141 C’est Moi Magazine

....... Gemini (21 May – 20 June)

You will enjoy intuition, independence, and excitement in your personal relationships. You will also enjoy intellectually stimulating relationships with a balance of give and take. You have the ability to allow others plenty of freedom to be themselves. It’s natural for you to prefer to stay in the background or to withdraw from competitive situations. It’s a good time for focusing on one or two things. Conversations tend to become deep or profound, even if they don’t at first seem to be heading that direction. There is general ease experienced in love relationships and relationships with children. Favorable Dates: April 2, 3, 11, 12, 20, 21 Favorable Colors: Blue & Green Cancer (21 June – 22 July)

This month has just the right feel of intensity that you feel comfortably challenged. Steady energy is with you right now. Practical matters fare well for you, as you are looking for truly workable solutions and quite determined to find answers. This is a good time for budgeting, considering important purchases, particularly for family or the home and for tending to details. You might receive a positive communication that boosts your confidence about your resources. It’s also good for getting in touch with feelings and managing them effectively. There can be a boost to your intimate life, creative impulses, and self-understanding. Favorable Dates: April 1, 5, 10, 14, 19, 23 Favorable Colors: Blue &Yellow Leo (23 July – 22 August)

This can be a strong month for personal and professional appeal, as people tend to naturally follow your need and go along with your plans. You can choose to keep the momentum going by applying yourself with gusto to work or educational efforts. Be sure to reach out socially or professionally in order to take advantage of this positive energy. Discipline and endurance are required now. Resist the urge to control. Accomplish what you can. Family matters have been powerful in your life recently, but now you need to ease some of the focus in order to tend to your other relationships. Favorable Dates: April 4, 8, 13, 17, 22, 26 Favorable Colors: Red & White

C’est Moi Magazine 142

ZODIAC C’EST MOI Virgo (23 August – 22 September)

Steady energy is working for you, on personal and professional levels. This is not a period for much frivolity, and it’s strong for taking on work or obligations that you normally prefer to avoid. You have a chance to show self-control and can earn some respect as you demonstrate restraint. Your health may be closely linked to your home environment. Any disruptions in the home may spark bouts of ill health. You may be concerned for your family’s health. You are more emotionally present and involved, but also quite vulnerable this month. Favorable Dates: April 3, 4, 12, 13, 21, 22 Favorable Colors: Purple & White Libra (23 September – 22 October)

This month is less about moving forward. It is more about building your strength and momentum for the road ahead of you. The period is currently putting emotional focus on some of the details of your life – things that you might overlook on another day but that now assume more importance. Work on the puzzle pieces and on getting nagging jobs sorted so that you can move ahead with a sense that you are carrying a lighter load. You might reach a whole new level of understanding with someone special, or even with yourself, which can be just as important if you’re breaking through selfdeceptions or limitations. Favorable Dates: April 2, 5, 11, 14, 20, 23 Favorable Colors: Green & Red Scorpio (23 October – 21 November)

You will have a tendency to seek excitement and scatter your energies. You have many unique talents, but need to develop discipline in order to make the most of them. Try to relax and don’t push things that are better left to run their natural course. You are challenged to think outside of the box for devising viable plans to improve your finances. This month is strong for all things fun, romantic, and creative, but you should watch that you don’t go overboard in your enthusiasm. You will also enjoy intellectually stimulating relationships. Favorable Dates: April 3, 8, 12, 17, 21, 26 Favorable Colors: White & Blue Sagittarius (22 November - 21 December)

143 C’est Moi Magazine

There can be a focus on financial and practical affairs this month, with an emotional overtone. While the time is right to consider your options, keep in mind that you are not especially objective just for the moment so that hard decisions shouldn’t be made yet. There can be some inclination to manipulate others to further your own goals, which should be avoided. There may be indecision regarding feelings about a relationship. Alternatively, there can be a conundrum regarding family and a relationship. Aim to simplify your life rather than add to it at this time. Favorable Dates: April 1, 3, 10, 12, 19, 21 Favorable Colors: White & Red

....... Capricorn (22 December – 19 January) You could discover new information, hidden information, or a lost item. This is a time for recycling – seeing new uses for old items. True feelings come to the surface. There can be some conflict or disagreement with a partner who can be feeling left out as you tend to your other obligations. Interactions with others may be a little challenged this month, as there can be some emotional impatience and a tendency to see those things that divide you rather than what bonds together. The challenge is to trust your feelings and to be assertive and find your own way in life. Favorable Dates: April 2, 9, 11, 18, 20, 27 Favorable Colors: Yellow & Red Aquarius (20 January – 18 February) This is a good period for personal influence, so take advantage. Finances can benefit from extra attention and strategic thinking. You might prefer to stay at or close to home, or to be with those people with whom you feel most comfortable and safe. Make extra time for comfortable and comforting activities – it’s all part of a natural rhythm. It’s a time for learning more about yourself, your heart, and the people closest to you. Difficult problems are best approached from their very root, as you’re more inclined to see things in terms of origins and the past. Favorable Dates: April 1, 4, 10, 13, 19, 22 Favorable Colors: White & Red Pisces (19 February – 20 March) This is a feel-good time if you allow yourselves to relax and tune into the subtle aspects of life – art, nature, beauty, dreams, and spiritual realms. You will absorb things easily, your senses are in good form, and you will naturally accept things and people as they are. Efforts to achieve personal goals may be thwarted right now because you need to cooperate with others. You will prefer your loved ones to provide you with a sense of adventure and freedom. Your desires can feel overwhelming right now, but equally challenging to fulfil but you would be able to get through. Favorable Dates: April 1, 4, 10, 13, 19, 22 Favorable Colors: White & Red www.facebook.com/manishastroconsultant manish@manishastrologer.com Picture Source: https://www.pixabay.com C’est Moi Magazine 144
