We wanted to be more intimate with this issue. We hope you welcome them with open arms. Make sure to be following us through this new journey. This change is definitely something we are trying. Nothing is set in stone. Growing is always about making changes when needed. Our motto is to have fun and we will continue to express that in our pages. Winter is almost a upon us. Starting her singing career at a very young age while attending the Oakland School of Arts in Oakland California, Kehlani Ashley Parrish (known only as Kehlani), gained her voice as an escape into the world of music. Her music is a mixture of Neo soul and Latin sounds due to her ethnicity and influence from the likes of Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, and so on. Her creativity and hard work landed her a position at the age of 14 with pop cover band, PopLyfe. Music was her escape from her personal foes. In 2014, using her talents to her advantage, she later became a solo artist with her first mixtape “Cloud 19” which became a sensation. Through her journey, she has worked with major artists like: Eminem, Chance the Rapper, BJ the Chicago Kid, and Cardi B. Her journey speaks levels and we look forward to seeing more of what she has in store for us in the coming days.
