FASHI N BUZZ!

DREAM WORKS FASHION!! By Sanda Panteleimonov

Sometimes I wonder how many people love fantasy and fashion, as much as me? I also wonder how many people admire beautiful outfits and dresses showcased in fantasy movies? Costumes always represent to me an important element in movies. Costumes create a dream-like effect which allows for an outer-worldly experience. Well halloween is coming soon. Let us try to adjust and apply some elements in our contemporary, everyday style. Here are some examples of characters with well-known style of fantasy outfits. Try to imagine their contemporary alternatives!

Cinderella’s Blue Ball Gown. Layers and layers of glittering fabrics create a great impression of the Cinderella dress featured in the 2015 movie. You may not be able to wear this kind of dress or style everyday, but you are still able to borrow the color or type of dress for special occassions. .

Stepmother’s Glamour. As we know, Cate Blanchett played the role of Cinderella's evil stepmother. With the incarnation of glamour, she never appeared without a scarlet pout, corset dresses, and attractive oversize hats. Some of these elemets will look really interesting in casual style or in evening outfits.

41 C’est Moi Magazine

* Rebellion of Leia. Princess Leia's dress is a really simple model, but it appears to be incredibly iconic and currently really popular. Her dress is really suitable for different occasions: parties, picnics, simple walks, and so on.

Bellatrix’s Style. Maybe due to her unique style we can’t even imagine any other fashion style but Bellatrix Lestrange. Dark witch- and that's it.

Ravena’s Ice Beauty. Ravenna with her cold, ice beauty, floorlength dresses and delightful jewels cant help but to attract the attention. Try to play with some aspects for your daily life.

Hermione's Yule Ball Gown. Remember Hermione's wonderful pink and purple dress? Try to find something similar and you definitely will make everyone’s heads turn once you come to the party. So I recommend to you to bring some fairytales and fantasy into your lives. And if you would like to propose your own interesting characters or ideas for costumes – don’t hesitate to write me and send pictures. Would love to see!

''Citizens of Planet ABODI - Unicorns, pegasi, unisi, spaceship owners, time traveler, party people, teleportation experts, dreamers, galactic beauties, extraterrestrial creatures, movie stars, pop stars... - are all part of this magic land...Are you ready to arrive to Planet ABODI?"

ABODI

loves to create painfully beautiful things. ABODI’s signature

style can be defined as baroque futurism which is a fusion of ancient and futuristic features. It is mixed with baroque opulence combined with rigid and robotic space technology which helps create a new religion. ABODI icon is the twin unisus, a mystical and powerful creature (a winged unicorn). The brand was founded by Dora Abodi in 2013. Born in Transylvania and raised in Budapest, part of a creative family, Dora Abodi showed early signs of interest in fashion and began to draw sketches in her grandfather’s studio at a young age. She graduated from French Mod’ International Art and Fashion Academy and obtained a Masters in Fashion Design at Domus Academy Milan in 2013. Each collection is a new chapter in the twin unisus empire saga but you are able to see a bold embrace of Dora’s Hungarian heritage. Though there is a bold cultural touch of Hungarian influence, it is also mixed with Italian inspirations due to her studies in Milan. Her education always continuously amazed her which is why we see a lot of Italian cultural influences. ABODI's accolades include: ON/Off & Artthread LFW (2015), FashionScout London AW1516 & SS2015 Catwalk Show (2014 and 2015), Vogue Italy Dubai Mall project (2014), Future of Fashion program (2014), Domus Academy-Vogue Talents Special Awards (2013), and Handbag Designer Awards in best overall design category with signature bags called 'Phoenix Bag' and 'Twin Unisus clutch'. (2012 and 2013). ABODI was featured in Vogue Italia, Vogue.com, Vogue UK, Vogue China, Vogue Netherlands, and C’est Moi Magazine. Celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Rita Ora, Jena Malone, Bella Thorne, Diana Agron, Dj Chelsey Leyland, Lindsay Lohan, Tyra Banks, Fergie, and many others have been seen wearing her pieces. The brand is conscious in representing an ethical point of view in fashion. They have a strong vegan belief in not using real fur, exotic leathers, or any materials from uncontrolled origins.

CULTURE C’EST MOI

P

....... ortugal, also known as the surf mecca of Europe, it is situated on unpolluted and pristine waters which are facing to the wonderful power of the Atlantic Ocean and too cold for scary sharks to venture. Portugal has a rich and unique culture. You will never think this once improvised country is now the mecca to be renowned. In 1974, the end of dictatorship brought the creation of democracy which brought with it their incorporation into the European Union in 1986, which will be said, brought the increased prosperity to the country. Their beautiful landscape diversity will captivate your mind from the green mountains, trees, rocky mountains, and beaches- you will never be displeased.

Though this country is relatively small, its 900 year old history played a crucial role in European history. It paved the way for world exploration. They established colonies in Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Brazil, Macau (China), and much more. This small island country was busy. Portugal has become the go-to spot to be due to its’ extremely fine weather. It is considered the warmest European country. So if you would like to get that tan and glowy skin, this is the place to be. Because of the increase in tourism, you will not find it hard to find someone that speaks a bit of English. Even if they don’t, still ask for their help. The natives are always friendly and willing to lend a helping hand. If you have time to talk to the older patriots, take that time to sit down with them and learn about the history of the community and Portugal as a whole. Their stories are fantastic. Now you are probably wondering, “What is there to do you ask?” Well, let us show you some snippets.
