Siberia: A land not forgotten

Siberia – the word itself chills the bones and conjures images of ice and snow as far as the eye can see. But in April, CfaN Lead Evangelist, Daniel Kolenda, helped bring a spiritual thaw to the región when he preached several fiery messages at The Power of Healing Conference in Krasnoyarsk, Russia (April 3–7).

The Power of Healing Conference was the first of its kind in Russia. It arose from a surprising partnership between two pastors in

Krasnoyarsk, Siberia’s largest city. At one point, the pastors were in a bitter feud. But the Holy Spirit worked His transformative power in their relationship. Now, they both share God’s heart to see the city won for Jesus. That their unity was contagious is evidenced by the fact that every local church joined in the effort to host the powerful conference. What a miracle!

Over the course of the conference, participants heard life-changing messages from Daniel Kolenda, Pastor Bill Johnson, Ben Fitzgerald, Jean-Luc Trachsel, Mattheus Van Der Steen, Sergey Ryakhovsky, Sergey Senokosov, Vladimir Ashaev, Marcus Wenz, and local Pastors and Bishops. More than 4,000 people gathered to hear Evangelist Kolenda during a Gospel Night meeting — a massive number in this part of the world. He preached a clear, impassioned message and over 600 people ran to the Altar to make Christ their Lord!

Evangelist Kolenda also had the chance to share an in-depth teaching with pastors and leaders from the region. A pastor from Moscow described his reaction to the session: “Honestly, I was surprised by Daniel’s deep theological roots and his powerful message. As an evangelist, I was profoundly touched by the Gospel in such a powerful way.”
