Gurney Elementary has amazing physical checkout statistics. Between August 2021 and December 2021, 4,929 books were checked out to our readers!
A huge thank you to our volunteers for all of the help with check ins and check outs. We could not manage without you!
MR. DALE TSCHAPPAT Mr. Tschappat joins Mrs. Czerr in library class to teach social emotional wellness lessons for our students.
TECH CORNER WITH MRS. KLODOR New technology, new tools! Gurney Elementary students and teachers have been busy with lots of new technology and tools! The K-2 students have new touchscreen Chromebooks which help students bridge the learning curve between their tapping skills and their typing skills. Gurney teachers are introducing students to new technology tools. Students are using SeeSaw to practice Fundations, Google Slides to write narratives, and Blooket to practice vocabulary! Students in Spanish class used Blooket to study vocabulary words.
