These compartment units supply conditioned air to VAV boxes for even distribution. In addition, there are fan powered VAV boxes equipped with heating coils opposite the exterior walls for the purpose of supplying additional heating along the floor perimeter. Fresh outdoor air is supplied to each compartment unit, which in turn, is evenly distributed to all VAV boxes in turn. Above the drop ceiling, space is utilized as a return air plenum.
