LOOKING AHEAD Summer programs at The Haven will end on Thursday, July 28. The facility will be closed during the Morgan County Fair week, July 29 - August 5. This time will be devoted to extensive cleaning at The Haven in anticipation of reopening Monday, August 8, the first day of school for MSD Martinsville. The Haven van will be picking up students at Bell East Academy and John R. Wooden Middle School following the final bell each day as has been the policy in past years. Afternoon schedules will include homework time, healthy snacks, games and computers, plus alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention programs which will be announced in advance. The initial ATOD program this fall will be in collaboration with Boys and Girls Club of Mooresville and funded by the Morgan County Substance Abuse Council. As always, all students grade 6-8 are welcome, and there is never a charge for any program which runs 2:30-5:30 on school days.
