Earn while you learn! Trainings will teach participants where and how to resolve common issues with government, how to become leaders and change agents in the community, how to advocate for their families and how to create and preserve Black health and wealth.

Discuss how democracy impacts our lives beyond election day. Workshop will discuss how to influence democracy through voting and beyond.

Speaking your peace Workshop is designed to help people get over their fear of speaking in public and with strangers in one-on-one and interview situations.

Making it Memorable - Public Speaking Part 2

Too Legit to Quit -Side Hustle to Success

This workshop is designed to build confidence when speaking in public using storytelling techniques.

This workshop is focused on turning a side-hustle into a “paper-ready” business that can build credit worthiness and access institutional and government contracts.

Grant writing for Beginners

Participants in this workshop will learn the basics of nonprofits, becoming a recognized 501(c)3, developing a case statement their own projects and building a model grant proposal.

Wealthy & Wise – Preserving Black Wealth

This workshop discusses how to protect generational wealth through Wills, Trusts, Land Deeds and Titles.

Step Up to Lead

This workshop is for active citizens who want to increase their leadership role in the community.

Advocating for Your School

This workshop focuses on how community members can advocate for neighborhood schools during school closure and school budgeting process. Participants will learn how to organize, advocate and challenge School Board decisions.

Taking Power

A primer on local and state legislative and policymaking process and practical guidance on how community activists and advocates can influence budget and policy decisions within these bodies. How to build coalitions, develop a power analysis and an effective strategy.
