Ritz-Carlton set the industry-standard in the hospitality segment long ago by doing much the same thing, starting with the housekeeping staff all the way up to the General Manager. They literally wrote the book on this gold standard. And Nordstrom, well they blew the lid off retail by allowing returns of any ilk (even if you had worn it 100 times, stained it in a knife fight or accidently set it ablaze at a camp fire while making s'mores) no questions asked. I have to admit, even I have taken full advantage of this little perk (think new dress shoes with teeth marks on it courtesy of one English bulldog named Winston Churchill).
