The kindling of the Menorah is the focal point of the Chanukah holiday, symbolizing religious freedom and the strength of the Jewish spirit. The Menorah is placed at the left side of a central doorway of the home, or at the front window. Gather all family members and recite the blessings, then light the candles beginning from the left.
