These include: HMS Host Travel Plazas and Welcome Centers: CHA has provided program management and engineering services related to the construction of travel plazas along Pennsylvania Turnpike, New Jersey Turnpike, I-95 in Delaware, and the Adirondack Northway. Nevele Resort, Casino & Spa: Performed the review of the planned $500 million Nevele Resort, Casino and Spa Redevelopment Project located in the Catskill Mountains. The project involves the redevelopment of a 564 acre resort property into a family resort, spa and gaming facility including a 10-story hotel tower, ice skating rink, golf course, downhill skiing, convention facility and 150,000 sf casino. Sysco Distribution Center: Construction of a state-of-theart 650,000 SF distribution facility and 18,040 SF truck maintenance, wash, and fueling facility. CHA performed the overall land planning site design and permitting. Boulevard 404 Student Housing Complex: Completed the survey, geotechnical, site civil and landscape design, permitting and construction administration for the Boulevard 404 Student Housing complex at Syracuse University. The six story, 69,000 SF student housing project sits on just over 1 acre of property. The facility included a 6 floors of residential living, retail space on first level, fitness center, study rooms, and other student housing amenities. The site improvements features including landscape gardens, underground storm water infiltration system, LED site lighting, covered automobile parking, and bike storage.

Lexus Dealership Site Design: Completed the site civil and landscape design, permitting and construction administration for the new Herb Chambers Lexus dealership in Hingham, MA. The dealership sits on 8 acres of property and consists of a 40,000 sf, 2-story dealership. The facility includes a car wash and vehicle fueling station and incorporates many Low Impact Development (LID) features including rain gardens, porous pavement, LED site lighting, and stormwater capture and reuse for irrigation and a 30,000 SF wetland mitigation area. Target Distribution Center: Provided comprehensive land development planning and site design services for this warehousing distribution project. CHA’s scope of services included civil and landscape site plans, boundary and topographic surveys, environmental site audits, traffic impact studies, wetland permitting and assistance in obtaining approval from local planning and zoning boards. Canterbury Woods Retirement Living Center: Performed professional engineering services for Phase 2 of the 63-acre life care facility in Williamsville, NY. The second phase of design and construction involved 44 individual living units placed on an 18-acre portion of the overall project site.

Richard Amadon, PE Market Leader Rich oversees the conceptual design through completion for new construction and renovation projects. He has over 20 years’ experience in the design of building systems for schools, government buildings, manufacturing facilities, parking structures, and port facilities.

James Trasher, PE Vice President James is CHA’s Director of Land Development. He oversees and prepares design plans for retail projects. His 15 years’ experience includes design plans, contract specifications, engineering reports, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, construction phase services, and cost estimates.
