Chad Panting Winnipeg

Chad Panting, a Winnipeg-based creative specialist, legal professional, and social advocate, has committed his career to fostering equitable outcomes within his community. In 2016, he pursued a seat in the Manitoba Legislative Assembly for Transcona to highlight the essential role of public administrators in service delivery, which impacts community health and safety. His campaign emphasized the pressing need for improved governance, access to social resources, childcare, and transportation infrastructure. Panting holds a law degree from the University of Toronto, equipping him with the expertise to dissect complex regulatory issues meticulously. His legal acumen and logical approach have propelled his advocacy efforts, especially in community and neighborhood improvement projects, through his role on several nonprofit nonprofit boards. Besides his legal career, Chad is deeply engaged in the creative arts as an actor, filmmaker, and producer. His contributions to TV commercials, made-for-TV movies, short films, and music videos have made significant marks in the industry. Acting not only fulfills his creative passion but also assists him in managing the challenges associated with untreated autism, providing a medium for self-exploration and social connection. Academically, Panting was the Valedictorian of his 2002 Winnipeg graduating class, a recognition of his academic achievements and leadership as the captain of his high school ice hockey team, which won a city championship against all odds. He continued his education at the University of Manitoba's Asper School of Business, where he excelled and made the Dean's List before advancing to law school at the University of Toronto.
