After church on April 10th, there will be a covered dish dinner in the fellowship hall. Please plan on staying after church for a time of fellowship. Please sign up, we need YOUR help! We are in need of greeters to welcome folks to the church at the beginning of our services, please sign up for this vital ministry. God has blessed us with children. Now we have to be faithful to what He asks of us. Please sign up to help one month with children’s church. There are several tasks, you can sign up to be a teacher, a helper, or to assist with the toddlers. Many hands make light work. Youth & Jr. Youth Report Last week, the Youth & Jr. Youth served Catawissa. Welcome to the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church! We are glad to have you worshipping with us this morning. If you are visiting with us, please fill out the visitor card and place it in the offering. We want to know who is worshipping with us, and who you are! Welcome and announcements Prelude (the gift of music helps us to prepare our hearts for worship) Lighting of the candles (the flame represents the presence of the Holy Spirit) Call to Worship (from Psalm 24) Leader: Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? Congregation: He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false.
