Does centrifugal force increase if the mass of the object increases?

Centrifugal Force Experiment-By Daniel Question: Does centrifugal force increase if the mass of the object increases? Prediction: The heaviest ball will go the farthest. Hypothesis: The heaviest ball will go the farthest because the weight of the ball will push the force more than the lightest ball.

Materials: 3 Balls that are heavy, light, very light Meter stick 1 Meter string Procedure: Step 1:

Tie the string to the ball (Like the way I tie in the picture.) Step 2:

Spin then let go of the string.

Centrifugal Force Experiment-By Daniel Step 3:

Measure the distance from the place where you are standing to the ball. Do the same thing with the other balls.

Data chart: Weight

Distance

130.5g

11m 26cm

57.1g

7m 31cm

40.9g

8m

Conclusion: My hypothesis was right because my data chart tells me that the heaviest ball went the farthest. Through this experiment I learned that the heavier things goes more outwards than the lighter balls.
