What kind of paper Airplane design travels farthest and stays aloft the longest?
Wednesday, May 7, 14
My Prediction and Hypothesis 1) I think plane C will fly the farthest because when I looked at all the planes it is the longest plane (Plane A,B,C). 2) I think plane A will fly the shortest because it is the smallest plane. Short paper airplanes could go the same length but it is shorter so it could land a little behind the other airplanes. 3) I think plane A will be aloft the longest because it is the smallest plane. The bigger planes are heavier. Wednesday, May 7, 14

Steps Practice folding different paper designs with scrap paper. Then use the new clean paper to make test planes. See which design paper plane flies the farthest and aloft the longest. Write down data and make a conclusion. Wednesday, May 7, 14

My Conclusion This experiment was fun. The best part was to fly airplanes. I wish I could do one more experiment. My 1st hypothesis was wrong because plane C went the second farthest. Plane B flew the farthest. My 2nd hypothesis was right this time. Plane A flew the shortest distance. Also my 3rd hypothesis was right too! Plane A was aloft the longest.
