Water... Our most precious resource As a growing business, we are responsible for doing our part and taking sustainability seriously, especially as a supplier of water-delivering products. With Government predictions of major water shortages in the not-too-distant future, we have a significant role to play in helping our customers, consumers, and society manage that through products that don’t compromise on functionality but use less water.

As suppliers of water-delivering products, we are responsible for continually assessing and improving our products to be as sustainable as possible without compromising your experience. We are committed to taking steps to meaningful change by actively seeking ways to reduce our carbon footprint and impact on the environment.

We have now adopted sustainability as a core value for Aqualla and Adamsez. Our objective for 2023 will be to focus on a sustainable journey. We will continue to develop initiatives already in place and identify new ones through our products, processes and people. We hope that you will join us.

How we are doing this:

Water Facts

According to the UN, billions of people live without safe water. Water scarcity remains a global problem because there is a finite supply, and with less rain falling and significant growth in the population, there is greater water demand. The World Bank predicts that by 2025, two-thirds of the global population will run short of fresh drinking water.

In March 2019, the European Environment Agency and UN forecasted severe drought across Europe by 2050.

Also in March 2019, the CEO of the Environment Agency, Sir James Bevan, made a speech entitled, 'Escaping the jaws of death'; he suggested that England will face severe water shortages within 25 years unless action is taken now and said: "We all need to use less water and use it more efficiently. Water is one of the planet's most important resources, with responsible water use being essential in the current situation."

Unified Water Labelling: The Unified Water Label Max. 6 L/min is an intelligent tool which Max. 8 L/min identifies how much water and energy products use, allowing us to make more informed choices. Choosing an Aqualla Unified Water Label product will help you use water wisely. Reduced water waste saves energy, reduces carbon emissions, saves money and helps to save the planet. All Aqualla basin taps, and showers in this brochure, achieve Green Band Unified Water Labelling Certification - the highest band achievable, and are registered on the Unified Water labelling website. – Relevant products throughout the brochure will have either a dark green water droplet icon (Indicating product has a maximum flow rate of 6 litres per minute) or a lighter green droplet (Maximum flow rate of 8 litres per minute). – Retrofit water-saving devices: New retrofit water-saving aerators help reduce water consumption on showers and taps not already using these devices (see page 134).

Packaging and Warehousing Our commitment allows us to adopt more sustainable solutions to our processes, from manufacturing and packaging to paper-free offices and swapping to recycled stationary throughout the business. Hanna, Avante, Ivy and Edge come in new eco-friendly outer boxes. We are limiting and reducing the need for single-use plastics. We aim to continue with fully recyclable product packaging roll-out throughout 2023 and beyond. Our warehousing use paper tape and recycled paper void fill when dispatching orders. Carbon Balanced Brochure Production Working with World Land Trust, we balance carbon dioxide production and help to protect critically threatened forests. We promote and encourage our customers to use our QR codes for digital brochure downloads.

Goods refer to items described on the Seller’s brochure, invoice or delivery note. QUOTATIONS Aqualla Brassware Ltd’s quotations are provisional in so far as they are subject to change due to any fluctuation in the price of raw materials or exchange rates. DELIVERY Aqualla will endeavour to deliver its products by an agreed date but will not be liable for any failure to deliver on the agreed date. Collection by the Buyer or an agent will constitute delivery. WARRANTY Most of our products have an extended warranty option at no extra cost. Extended warranty is subject to completion of the online product registration on https://aquallabrassware.com/productregistration/

Towel Warmers: Aqualla Brassware Ltd towel warmers have a 5-year warranty when registered online (2 years parts and labour / Remaining 3 years parts only), and Aqualla Brassware Ltd valves have a 2 year warranty. Accessories: Aqualla Brassware Ltd accessories have a 12 year warranty when registered online (2 years parts and labour / Remaining 10 years parts only). Radiators: All Aqualla Brassware Ltd radiators have a 5-year warranty when registered online, (2 years parts and labour / Remaining 3 years parts only). Electric heat elements have a 2-year warranty. Mirrors: Aqualla Brassware Ltd mirrors have a 5-year warranty when registered online, (2 years parts and labour / Remaining 3 years parts only). Aqualla Brassware Ltd will make a discretionary decision to either replace or repair, at their own expense, defects in goods arising from faulty workmanship provided that the Buyer will have given written notice to the Seller as soon as is reasonably practical. Aqualla Brassware Ltd’s liability in respect of any defect will be limited to the repair or replacement of the goods in question and if damage or loss occurs to the goods in transit, the Seller shall repair or replace the specified goods if notification is made in writing within seven days of the goods being dispatched from its premises. POLICY OF CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT Aqualla Brassware Ltd will continually strive to achieve the highest level of quality and improvement of products. Aqualla Brassware Ltd reserves the right to alter or amend any product specification without prior notice to its customers. Colours are as accurate as the printing process will allow.

PAYMENT AND OWNERSHIP The goods shall remain the property of Aqualla Brassware Ltd until the Buyer has settled the invoice in full. Aqualla Brassware Ltd will be entitled to repossess the goods and enter onto any premises where the goods may be located if the Buyer breaches the contract in any way. This includes acts of insolvency, bankruptcy, attempts to make arrangements with any creditors or any petition passed to a Receiver or a Court. If Aqualla Brassware Ltd is placed in any situation where it has to repossess its products, the Buyer will be liable to pay the difference between the price of the goods and their value on repossession.

Should Aqualla Brassware Ltd be entitled to repossess goods and unable to do so for any reason, the Buyer will pay to the Seller the full purchase price as per their invoice. Any discount offered to the customer is detailed on the invoice. PRODUCT CARE Aqualla recommend that you do not use any abrasive sponges or scouring agents for cleaning. We also advise that you do not use cleaning agents containing abrasives such as solvent or acid, limescale removers, household vinegar and cleaning agents with acetic acid in them. Damage to the surface and underlying material resulting from improper treatment is not covered by warranty. GENERAL No corrosive substances are to be placed into Aqualla Aromawell as this could be hazardous to your health. Proof of purchase will be required for all warranty claims.
