LEARNING COMMUNITY

Agricultural Learning C Bang Khu Wat is a big district that composes of various types of community. Its location tends to be developed further in the nearly future where the BTS and some universities aim to settle down to accommodate a growing city and popu-lation. In the meantime, another beautiful side of Bang Khu Wat is agricultural lands which agri-culture still plays an important role as the back-bone of the country. To conserve local wisdoms and existing natural surrounding is a big approach to the future development for the next generation. So the question is, “What are quality of spaces and built environments that could deliver a better sense of Bang Khu Wat community, assist a formation of agricultural knowledge integrated with culture, social and lifestyle, and create an urban green space?

2013 Project: Foldable House Production by: CHALIDA D. Location: Anywhere Project Year: 2013 | Decathon Project

Ba Agricultural Learning C LIVING IN A BOX

The foldable house is a portable house concept that is designed not just as a house but as a complete housing system to respond to the global change on environment during mid of this century, making a livable place that is environmentally efficient and economically self-sufficient according to the idea of the ‘Solar Decathlon Project’ The house is made of a recycled container that can be organized in any arrangement and is comparatively smaller, more flexible and faster in construction than the conventional houses. The interior design provides comfortability for an enhanced quality life by featuring various facilities (washing machine, fridge, etc) for the normal living condition. However, when it comes to the disaster circumstances, the house can be transported to the other safe areas because its structure is originally from a container that can be stuck on the truck. This phototype is the idealistic design for preparedness for unpredictable situations in the nearly future. (eg, natural disaster)with culture, social and lifestyle, and create an urban green space.

2012 Project: Condominium Project Production by: CHALIDA D. Location: Sukhumvit, Bangkok Project Year: 2012 | Vertical Living

Ba Agricultural Learning C LIVING IN A VERTICAL CITY

Our urban society is continuously growing and expanding. Economic and social are improving changes on the way of life of people living in the urban regions. The trends of design in the future can be concluded mainly in terms of the physical features and the location of the projects with more consideration on restidents health and energy savings. Furthermore, building process will be faster and more accurate due to new technologies. The size of the land will be smaller but usage area will be larger and vertically overlaid or more useable areas can be planned for everywhere to accomodate facilities that may be increase in the future. The question is how we will live in the future and how spaces for dwelling could respond to the changing of life and living condition. Speculative and research-oriented in nature. To open the vision to the changing of different criteria of living; Housing is conceived as a total environment that stimulates healthy living and meets man’s physical needs. Natural ventilation, lighting and thermal performance asre aspect that have an imact on the needs of residents?
