'The System That Works For Criminal Rehabilitation'
Have you ever wondered how folk know all your business? Well, even in ‘private places’ some people with cell phones talk so loud that everyone knows the very nature of the conversation. Why, can’t people talk softly into a phone and not as though you are bellowing in a ball-park. Why conduct a phone-call with intents of everyone knowing your secrets-of-secrets? Call phones at one time were considered to be a valued instrument for those who carried it for emergencies only. Now, everybody has one, and most are for everything from talking about ‘last nights activities’ to the dealing of drugs. Where is the shame anymore? Remember when their was the ‘party-line’ which allowed everyone in the ‘hood’ to know what was going on before it got-on! Well, today we are paying for a two-party conversation with many people listening. Silly conversations are going on in supermarkets, bars, trains, buses, bathrooms, checkout counters, gas-stations and others places where often check-out lines are held-up because one hand can’t release the cell phone. What’s next with cell-phones? Well, I guess your guess is as good as mine.
