WELCOME

It has been a very busy couple of months, starting with an invite to Malaga from Caterpillar (and the slightly less grand Leicester) that I am looking forward to cashing in, which arose after meeting with them at a continental demolition convention.

And the month ended with the superb Molson Open Day a week or so ago.

We seem to have made quite the impact as over the past week I have been inundated with invites to events held by Blue Group, CAT/Finning, Sennebogen, CASE and Volvo falling into my inbox so it will come as no surprise that it will be another busy period as we bring you up to date with what the manufacturers are up to and what those that supply the industry offer.

Going back to the open day with our friends from Molson, I must thank James Dodkins for recognising how far we have come in three years, becoming established as a known and liked publication in the construction equipment sector.

It was yet another brilliant day (we also attended 18 months ago) and we have lots of footage with a video imminent including brands such as Kobelco, RokBak and Hyundai.

In this issue, the Business Insider interview is with Guy Nicholls, CEO of Tru7 Group. I was invited over to Sinks Pit a few weeks ago and finally met THE man in plant.
