Do's and Donts for Sabering a Champagne

This can be really exciting indeed. Perhaps you already know how to execute such art, but then again, here are the do’s and don’ts of champagne sabering or also known as sabrage. Before removing the wire, make sure to support the cork by pressing it with your thumb.

Always chill the bottle before executing the art. Keep in mind that in order for you perfecting champagne sabering, it is really not the way on how you swing your champagne sabre or champagne sword. Sabrage works because of the pressure inside and not about the swing. Always use a champagne sabre or champagne sword whenever you perform sabering or even during practice.

Never point the bottle to the crowd. Never use a knife or any ordinary kitchen knives. Don’t pour the champagne just yet. Don’t be frustrated when practicing sabering and feel about yourself. For more deatails contact us on: www.champagnesabres.co.uk
