Cervical Cancer Awareness Month: Cervical cancer was once a leading cause of cancer death for women in the United States. Today, screening and prevention have greatly reduced the impact of this form of cancer. Still, more than 13,500 women in the United States receive a diagnosis of cervical cancer and more than 4,200 die from the disease each year, according to the National Cancer Institute.

Don't forget to decon your helmet and boots after a re. Since we clean and swap out our turnouts, these items need to be addressed as well.

When leaving the station, try to not start the apparatus until the crew is seated and buckled in. This will prevent lling the bay with idle exhaust.
