4th Quarter

The training division is wrapping up another academy. Eighteen reghter recruits will report to shift work to complete their probationary year on December 18. The recruits have spent 560 hours working on topics ranging from ladder functions, extrication, ventilation, building construction, reground survival, hose lays, search and rescue, EMS, and many other topics related to being a reghter. During their rst-year assignments, they are anxious to learn from the engine and ladder companies.

The re training center was home to regional hazmat training. The training staff also assisted EMS with Q4 training, set up a condence course for the shift battalions to run, and facilitated EVL training. It has been a busy 4th quarter.
