18 ACRE PLOTTED LAYOUT With a previously planned and approved layout, the scope of this project consisted of coordinating with the consultants for various service infrastructure routing and clash detection and avoidance, with all the drawings required for the layout to be executed, along with overhead tank, STP and an entrance gateway.
APARTMENTS AT SADASHIVNAGAR Designed as a stilt + 5 structure, this project is on a 60’x80’ corner site and the road follows a slope down from the north-east to the north-west, providing for the entrance to the parking level from the west in order to minimise excavation. The design follows vastu as per the client’s requirements which in particular asked for each of the bathrooms to be placed in the north-west of each of the bedrooms. The first three floors are four bedroom apartments and the top two is a duplex house for the client’s own use. Experimenting with various ideas for all four facades, the idea was to soften the blow provided to the surrounding context due to the largeness of the building.

APARTMENTS AT MARUTHI SEVANAGAR Designed as a stilt + 4 structure, this project is on a 32’x45’ site placed at the end of a dead end and in an extremely congested area of town. The first two floors are one and one and a half bedroom apartments and the top two are a 3BHK each. Closely packed adjacent buildings and the purpose of the building being for rent, led to the building having very little beautification in terms of architectural treatments, providing functional small spaces for the typical user in the area.
