DESIGN OVERVIEW

SITE PLAN

The topic was taken to stablish an opportunity to research and develop a design scheme for Museum Design and approved by the school maintaining professional working standards and attain a professional level approach with extensive details. Thus, this design will attain independent professional approach analysis based design projects achieving high level of workability, efficiency and aesthetics in 3-D form with all the services properly worked out.

DIFFERENT VIEWS OF THE BLOCK DEPICTING THE ARCHES AND STYLE OF ARCHITECTURE

CONCEPT OF ARCHES AND LIGHT IN THE DESIGN WITH THIS DESIGN, IT CREATES A CONTINUOUS LOOP THAT WRAPS AROUND AND CREATES A NETWORK OF ARCHED SPACES WHERE EXHIBITIONS CAN TAKE PLACE.. SO INSIDE YOU HAVE A SPIRAL WALK WAY AND SEVERAL DIFFERENT TYPES OF ‘SHELF-LIKE’ EXHIBITION SPACES. THE BIG CHALLENGE WAS HOW TO GET AS MUCH NATURAL LIGHT INTO THE SPACE AS POSSIBLE AND SO WE HAVE EXPERIMENTED A LOT WITH DIFFERENT „SKINS‟ TO GIVE THE INTERIOR AS MUCH LIGHT AS POSSIBLE.

DESIGN OVERVIEW Many people, when asked about libraries, imagine old buildings with dimmed light and endless rows of heavy wooden bookshelves. Libraries are our heritage. They contain all knowledge human kind has acquired. The bookshelves are built far from the walls. Thanks to that the reading desks, and computer stations can be placed in the centre. This library focuses to be a centre for knowledge, experiences and learning. It’s a common living room for everybody. There are meeting rooms, reading seats and wireless internet all over the library.

BUILTFORM OF THE DESIGN

The main part of the building depicts the service area, the learning centre and the division of different zoning in library. The library management zone and student services are located in the smaller block where people can sit and analyse the design as it comprises of voids for ventilation and light as shown in the renderings (left).

DESIGN OVERVIEW Nature provides us with a marvelous framework for understanding sustainable school facilities. Just as ecosystems in nature are sustained by the biodiversity within them, high performing schools support a diversity of learning modalities with a wide variety of spaces and building systems. The economic challenges are affecting school facilities and their ability to meet energy and environmental demands. The Design helps us to understand energy-efficient approaches such as day lighting and heat recovery contribute positively to school design.

Beyond this framework, there’s an even broader concept that covers and unites these principles in this school design, and that is the strong link any school facility has to the curriculum taught inside it. It is designed to teach one way and produce a zoning of different sectors in schooling. We need to realize that today, schools need to do more, to facilitate individualized learning in multiple ways, and assist students to become global citizens with strong problem solving and creative skills. That’s how it is improvised in this schooling design.

DESIGN OVERVIEW The purpose of designing auditorium is to learn the acoustic management and properties of materials with respect to sound. The sides are covered in cladding with small rectangular glass pockets to let light into the interior spaces. Native vegetation and low-maintenance plants cover the building, which is irrigated with rainwater collected on the roof and stored in reservoirs at the ends of the building.

ELEVATION Concept of Climate: During the cooler months, sunlight enters the windows (cut-outs) and heats the concrete thermal mass inside for passive heating throughout the day. In the warmer months, shades are drawn over the window to protect from the hot sun.

DESIGN OVERVIEW Understanding Hospital design as a function of specific agenda such as site condition, orientation, climate, circulation and essential services with design. The overall concept is based on the architectural proposal for a hospital of this nature: it should allow adaptation to the requirements of the HOSPITAL needs, and expected financial requirements. It has also sought to respond to the complex functions.

CONCEPT AND SOLUTION: Attention towards a more efficient and patient-centred outpatient care is increasing. This is due to a interest in reducing the costs associated to long in-patient care stays. The research conducted shows that the benefits and positive comments from the patients outweigh negative ones. However, as is always the case, it is never easy to introduce changes into well established procedures. Thus, in the design the use of 3 Phase Assistance for a visit depends upon age of the person and issue that the person is facing so that the in-out time remains rush free.

- JOHN W. GARDNER

GROW The study of this subject is aimed to understand the Visual & aesthetic qualities of Art and relating these to Architectural situation. This subject forms the direct input to Design as “Basic Design‟ is the foundation of all Professional courses which deals directly or indirectly with Aesthetic. The design (right) inculcates the principles and aspects of design at different forms. This proposes unity, harmony and balance for a design.

GROW

In todays era, the techniques of architecture in the sense that will be considered here are simply the methods by which structures are formed from particular tools which were evolved from time to time. These tools are influenced not only by the advancement of the world’s technology but also by the total development of timeline in architectural background.

Consider a tree for a moment. As beautiful as trees are to look at, we don't see what goes on underground - as they grow roots. Trees must develop deep roots in order to grow strong and produce their beauty. But we don't see the roots. We just see and enjoy the beauty. In much the same way, what goes on inside of us is like the roots of a tree. - JOYCE MEYER
