CHILD CARE
At the Y, we believe all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. In our afterschool programs, hundreds of youth are cultivating the values, skills and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health and educational achievement.
BEFORE & AFTERSCHOOL CHILD CARE (GRADE TK-5) The Y offers a wide range of school-aged child care programs, conveniently located on school campuses in the Ventura Unified School District. As the only licensed child care provider at these elementary schools, programs are maintained according to the California Community Care Licensing regulations, adhering to all state mandated requirements. Program staff and volunteers are committed to promoting healthy living, social responsibility and youth development and strive to give all children the experience of expressing their passions, strengthening their talents and building their social and educational habits. SCHOOL BREAK CHILD CARE ( GRADE TK-8 ) The Ventura Family YMCA provides child care during school breaks, furlough days and select holidays for Ventura Unified School District.
