Canoeing @ Youth Sleepaway Camp

Welcome to the Lompoc Family YMCA Summer Camp.

Our camp counselors are excited to be planning fun, enriching, and safe adventures for children to discover who they are and what they can achieve! At Y camps, the possibilities are endless! Our Summer Day Camps provide children with supervised activities that cultivate values, develop skills, nurture relationships and actively explore children’s imagination. At camp, you are able to create YOUR ideal summer experience. Our wide variety of programs provides something for everyone! Give your kids the chance to have fun, improve their health, learn new things, and reach their potential.

Kinder Ready Camp

At La Canada Elementary Ages 3.5 - 5

$215/week

Get your little one ready for the first day of school by enrolling them in our kinder ready program. The YMCA uses ELM curriculum as a guiding light for education and Social Emotional Learning techniques.

Adventure Camp

At Clarence Ruth Elementary Ages 6 - 9 $220/week

Sign your little camper up to take on new adventures. This camp will explore group projects, STEM fun, and enjoy the sun. This camp will have one onsite or offsite field trip per week.

Challenger Camp

At La Canada Elementary Ages 10 - 13

$225/week

This camp is for the big kids, the mini adults, and the tweenagers. Campers will swim at the pool once a week and go on one walking field trip to a park, store, or restaurant. This camp will have one onsite or offsite field trip per week.

Leaders In Training (L.I.T.)

At La Canada Elementary Ages 13 - 16

Fees covered by LUSD

Teens will earn job experiences while still being able to enjoy the highlights of the camper experience. They will learn how to interview for a job, work with children, the importance of risk management, and how to plan and lead activities. They will be assigned a Counselor Mentor that will help coach them throughout the summer. At the end of the program, each C.I.T. will receive a letter to show proof of their experience for volunteer or work experience. In addition, qualifying C.I.T.’s graduating from the program will earn a letter of recommendation.

All Ages Welcome | Santa Barbara Family YMCA

Enjoy a week-long adventure for the entire family that promises to be filled with new experiences and fun. Your family will enjoy hiking, swimming, canoeing, rock climbing, fishing, campfires, paddle boarding or just reading and relaxing. Price includes six nights lodging, meals, morning kid’s camps, arts and crafts, campfires, YMCA Rag Program, and more. The fees below include a space for four campers. Ventura Family YMCA | Ages 9 - 17 | $850 In Sleepaway Camp at Lake Sequoia, adventure time is always on. In this program, campers are immersed outdoors, staying in cabins during the night and exploring nature throughout the day. Activities include hiking, sports, crafts, and recreational water activities. Campers will come home with an adventurous spirit and new friends.
