A HOME FOR EVERYONE
Montecito Family YMCA I want to help the YMCA support my community. I would like my donation to continue supporting vital programs at the Y.
“Our journey at the Montecito YMCA started at preschool and soon became our family’s community anchor. As a working mum, new to the area back in 2009 with two little ones, my son began the journey under Mrs. Annie’s care and support, soon followed by my daughter. The Y offered so much for my family, from preschool, swim lessons, swim camps, swim team, water polo, summer camps, tween night, birthday parties, teen fitness and more. We secured lifetime connections at the Montecito YMCA. We are welcomed, recognized, supported and belong at the Montecito YMCA. Every day the Montecito YMCA’s heart, arms, and doors opened wider and wider. The Y is not only an anchor for my family – but an anchor for the entire community.”

“When we moved to Santa Barbara, almost 20 years ago, we looked around for an exercise facility with an outdoor swimming pool, as our preferred aerobic exercise is swimming. The Montecito YMCA had just what we were looking for. A big plus for us was that it opened, pre-pandemic, at 6am, which worked well with our schedules. An additional benefit of an early morning visit to the YMCA was the availability of a warm cup of coffee on a cold winter morning provided free for anyone to enjoy. We found the facilities well maintained and the staff friendly and helpful. The people we have met at the Montecito YMCA have been very friendly and we have made several good friendships over the years. It is such a joy to have a welcoming and open place like the Montecito YMCA.”
