At Y Camp, the possibilities are endless! Y Summer Camps provide children and teens with supervised activities that cultivate values, develop skills, nurture relationships, and actively explore children’s imagination.

LIL TROOPERS CAMP (Ages 4-5)

Get your little ones ready for their first day of school by enrolling them in our kinder ready program. The YMCA uses ELM curriculum as a guiding light for education and social emotional learning techniques. While your little one is at camp, have peace of mind knowing that they are having fun and are supervised by our trained staff. Daily pool time is scheduled each week which will include swim lessons for your little one. This camp will also partake in fun themes such as Pajama Mondays and weekly field trips.

LIVE Y’ERS CAMP (Ages 6-8)

Live Y’ers is all about burning off that physical energy while utilizing creative energy to make art, build projects, and solve riddles. Help them make a friend or two this summer while making memories that will last a lifetime! This camp will partake in fun themes such a Pajama Mondays along with a designated pool day and weekly field trips.

EXPLORERS CAMP (Ages 9-12)

Give your campers an opportunity to build skills and values through activities that build peer relationships. Campers will participate in water days, team building activities, and weekly field trip.

SPLASH CAMP (AGES 6-14) 6/24 - 6/28, 7/1 - 7/3

Splish, splash, we’re having a blast! Splash camp is designed to teach swimmers basic water safety and swimming skills by participating in daily swim lessons and organized water and pool games. Campers will enjoy a day at the beach where water time is monitored by Certified Lifeguards and Swim Teachers.

SOCCER CAMP (Ages 7-11) 7/15 - 7/19

Lace up those sneakers; it’s time to score! Campers will run drills and learn the fundamentals of soccer from our highly skilled staff comprised of coaches and athletes. During the week, campers will build their self-confidence, discover their personal best, and have fun being a part of a team.

FLAG FOOTBALL (Ages 8-13) 7/8 - 7/12

Elevate your game at Football Camp! Come run routes, learn the fundamentals on both sides of the ball, and get fit doing it. Campers will get conditioning, scrimmages, and skill development for all positions. Campers will practice and play ONLY non-contact football.

BASKETBALL & TENNIS (Ages 8-13) 7/29 - 8/2

Get the best of both sports! Our high caliber staff, comprised of athletes and coaches will help your child discover their potential and love for basketball & tennis. During the week, campers will build their self-confidence, discover their personal best, and have fun being a part of a team.

PASSPORT TO ART (AGES 5-8) 7/8 - 7/12

$220 for Members, $235 for Non member Campers get ready for an adventure to travel the world through art! Throughout the week, campers will rotate through multiple art techniques such as drawing, painting, clay, and more. Campers will learn the history of art techniques and learn which cultures still use them today. At the end of the week, the campers will hold their very own art exhibit.

STEAM CAMP (AGES 7-11)

7/22 - 7/26

$335 for Members, $350 for Non member Science and art are joining forces! Campers get ready for a week of colorful and messy projects as we practice problem solving, thinking critically, and being creative! Campers will use hand on learning and apply concepts to the real world and will go on two field trips – the MOXI and Santa Barbara Natural History Museum! Campers will rotate through different hands on activities including making color changing potions, building bridges out of various supplies, making fizzy play dough, and more!

YOUTH OVERNIGHT CAMP

July 21 – 26

Youth and Teen Camps

Youth: Ages 9 - 12 Teen: Ages 13 - 17 Fee: $930

In Sleepaway Camp at Lake Sequoia, adventure time is always on. In this program, campers are immersed outdoors, staying in cabins during the night and exploring nature throughout the day. Activities include hiking, sports, crafts, and recreational water activities. Campers will come home with an adventurous spirit and new friends.

CIT Camp

Age 17 Fee: $465

The Counselor in Training Program teaches teens the job skills necessary to be a counselor and strong employee. The camp environment provides a unique opportunity for teens to build leadership skills, particularly in assisting counselors with younger campers. Counselors in Training (CITs) are provided first-hand experience working with campers and the opportunity to cultivate skills and knowledge in the away camp setting. CITs are selected through an application and interview process. Space is limited to 10 participants. To apply, interested teens must register online and pay the camp deposit. If the camper is not selected the YMCA will refund the deposit made.

Transportation to Youth Overnight Camp departs from Ventura Family YMCA, 3760 Telegraph Road, Ventura, CA 93003. A $150 weekly deposit is required at time of registration. For more information contact Brian Stevens at Brian.Stevens@ciymca.org.

FAMILY CAMP SEQUOIA

August 3 – 9

Enjoy a week-long adventure for the entire family that promises to be filled with new experiences and fun. Your family will enjoy hiking, swimming, canoeing, rock climbing, fishing, campfires, paddle boarding, or just reading and relaxing. Price includes six nights lodging, meals, morning kid’s camps, arts and crafts, campfires, YMCA Rag Program, and more. The fees below include a space for four campers.
