Snow blankets the ground The cool air looks magical Winter, enchanted.
Stalking through the night Fierce claws slashing enemies Roaring in the night.
I am writing a free verse right now. This has stanzas and lines. That’s all a free verse is.
A free verse doesn’t have to rhyme. It can if you want it to. A free verse has no limits.
That’s what I like about free verses. This is my personal free verse. And I like it just the way it is.
. . .Blue is like a precious diamond, Casting its brilliant, sparkling rays across the room When light hits it. Blue is like ice, cool against your skin. Blue is like comet, amazing everyone who sees it. Blue sounds like the crashing waves of the ocean, And smells like a salty sea spray. Blue is a dolphin, bringing great joy to everyone who sees it.
Tiger, tiger ,in the night. His sharp eyes burning bright. On his prey he’s sneaking, sneaking. Upon his enemies his wrath he’s reeking His beautiful coat you will envy, But when provoked you’ll be his enemy.
