ABOUT
The Flapping Wing 1 Bus stop
Biomimetic architecture is a multi-disciplinary scientific approach to sustainable design that goes beyond using nature as inspiration for aesthetics but rather deeply studying and applying construction principles that are found in natural environments and species. The concept is inspired by Eagle's wings, which is the flapping mechanics of an eagle or falcon's wings during flight. Wings are the locomotory organs in birds, they are the locomotory means for their movement. One of the means, locomotory built structure mediums in the human world are bus stops. Also, the Curved Roof which is in the wing form naturally gives you more space than flat roofs as the arch extends above the dimension of the flat surface.

Steel columns are designed to achieve greater compression and fire resistance by concrete filling (in the case of hollow sections). The compressive strengths of the two materials can be mobilised together. Indeed, the strength of the concrete is also enhanced by the confining effect of the tubular section. The method of concrete filling, which is normally by pouring from the top of the column heights, load transfer from the beams to the columns, which for large diameter columns is achieved by a steel insert with shear connectors embedded into the core of the column footing reinforcement in the concrete.

ABOUT
A Piece of the Pie 2 Tiny House
A Piece of Pie, the approach innovation from a different angle. Combining the shapes with the deep insight of the structural idea and creativity for this project named vocational space for a chef, I decided to emphasize the kitchen which is considered as a piece in the structure (pie) which has been slightly pulled out from the living space to make the kitchen get connected with the outer atmosphere and make the tiny house more special. This tiny home isn’t just about looking like pie — it is designed as a minimalist sustainable living and less embodied energy. When it comes to house design, the fundamental rule is that a simple shape is much more sustainable than a complex shape. The shape requires only a small number of bricks when compared with the flat walls and it is energy efficient.

BENEFITS OF CURVED KITCHEN • Countryside hills, rolling waves…these gentle images reflect the curved design that makes the modern kitchen such a relaxing space. • Subconsciously we associate sharp, defined edges with danger, whereas rounded edges bring about a sense of calm which makes the curved kitchen design a much more relaxing environment.

BENEFITS OF CURVED TOILET Enhancing our well-being should become one of our major concerns. Luxury and comfort are not enough to escape everyday stress and routine. To balance your private life and work pressures an unsimilar curved toilet seems to be a great idea, don’t you think? Yes, it would be a great idea for an individual in a tiny house with a minimum space.

The given area for this tiny house is 30 sq. meters, which is a very small space to fulfil all the needed requirements for a professional who intends to spend his free time alone. This tiny space is fully used without any dead spaces. This house is glazed in such a way to enjoy all the angles of outside nature just sitting in one area and the glazed part has been shaded by using the drops around. A plantation pit has been arranged under the shades and the kitchen is highlighted as it was designed for a chef. SOUTH ELEVATION

The Two Courtyards 3 N.I.D
Thatchu Shasthra, or the Science of Carpentry and Traditional Vaastu, was the governing science in this architectural form, which has been implemented in this Institutional mass structure called as Ettukettu (eight halls with two central courtyards) which is the most elaborate form of this architecture. This structure faces the sunlight and excellent ventilation. Temperatures, even in the heat of summer, are markedly lower within the Ettukettu. This Imaginary Site is chosen from an imaginary capital (Amaravati) in Andhra Pradesh, which is about 15 acres in “Involu (The knowledge city division) in the capital city Amaravati which is located on the banks of river Krishna in Guntur District and the primary city of the state’s capital region.

There are 5 chosen branches proposed in this project (National Institute of Design). They are Industrial Design, Textile and Apparel Design, Communication Design, IT Integrated Design, Interdisciplinary Design. As the N.I.D students need large space when compared to other branches the capacity of the campus is only for 300 students. There are 20 workshop rooms, 8 classrooms, 8 studio rooms, 8 computer labs, 4 laboratories, 4 seminar halls, 2 libraries, and a pack of academic block, cafeteria, book stalls have been designed within the campus main building. The campus infrastructure is perfectly arranged from the institutional block, food stalls, an open air-theatre, play zone, hostel blocks and finally recreational and parking spaces respectively.

The Eco-Community 4 Kajamalai
In recent years, environmental pollution is the most concerning issue. Awareness is growing to save the environment. In Bangladesh, burnt clay brick is the most commonly used building material which produces a significant amount of greenhouse gasses and also it destroys a huge amount of agricultural land every year. Concerning the issue of scientists searching for sustainable and eco-friendly building material. Compressed Stabilized Earth Block (CSEB) gives the opportunity of energy efficient, eco-friendly, agriculture friendly and sustainable development. So, the project Refurbishment of Kajamalai has been designed in all possible ways to change it as an eco-community. 75% of the concrete use has been reduced by replacing with CSEB-load bearing structures up to G+1 max height.

This project is all about refurbishment of the community - Kajamalai colony, which is a suburban in the city of Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. Kajamalai gets its name from the rock or hill rock located at the heart of the locality, which is 3 km from the railway station. To create a sustainable environment, material usage plays a main role. This made me think about the embodied energy of CSEB, which is 10.7 times less than the country 's red brick. Carbon emissions of CSEB are 12.5 times less than the country's red brick. Concrete production results in 2.8 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide which is between 4-8% of the world's greenhouse gas emissions.

When it comes to this Radial Block design, the fundamental rule is that a simple shape is much more sustainable than a complex shape and has less embodied energy for this shape. This apartment is a mixed radial complex of 3 circular structures of G+1. Each circle gives an individuality for each apartment. There are 6 apartments in this Radial Block with three 2BHK apartments on each floor.
When it comes to this individual villa design, this design is only for gazetted officers in the Kajamalai colony, which is a class-A structure. This individual villa is 3BHK and designed with all the modern interiors based on function and for climatic reasons. Both the roofing elements as well as the construction materials are chosen on the basis of local availability to make the design cost efficient and aesthetical. 32'-6" 15'-9"

When it comes to this Interlock Block design, 2 individual apartments have been interlocked in a structural way and plants have been planted in between them to increase all the ventilation features in this design and to provide protection from the scorching sun. In this effort to maximise the general flow of air and recirculate it within the building.
When it comes to this Isolation Block design, 2 individual apartments have been isolated in a functional way by providing different inner flow, but attached in a structural way to provide the individuality to both the apartments. This design has a minimum partitions to allow the air circulation throughout the structure as one side has been blocked to maintain the structural form. This is a D-class building.

“Hi, I am Sai Charan Raju. I completed my 4th academic year in B. Arch in 2021(July) at RVS KVK School of Architecture, Trichy. I have worked at Studio ABD an Architectural firm for over one year while I was pursuing my 3rd year of college. As a Trainee and a Freelancer, I am well-versed in the stages of application development in my academics and also in my daily practical life as well. Other than my studies, I love Photography, Model making, Sketching and Water Painting as well. I am an active member in “National Association of Students of Architecture'' (NASA). I am very much enthusiastic about learning new things and exploring new places. I attend many workshops to improve myself in the field of architecture. I am a hard worker, who never gives up.
“I consider myself as a leader because I am someone who is confident in taking my own decisions”. “I would describe my leadership style as direct and leading by example of being a Unit-Secretary in “National Association of Students of Architecture” (NASA). I enjoy delegating tasks and taking the lead on Architectural Competitions and Workshops along with my fellow-students, but I also like to stay involved and inspire my team by showing that I'm working hands-on to help them, too.

Studio ABD Architects Studio ABD Architects is a proactive leading architecture firm in Trichy. Having strong desire in the practice of developing architectural projects, interior design projects and urban strategies at a variety of scales. Ar. Abdul Basith Sir (Founder of Studio ABD) who was a guest lecturer in our college, saw my interest in the field of architecture and gave me a chance to work in the real time projects and I have been working as a trainee in Studio ABD (while I was pursuing my 3rd academic year of B-Arch) from the year 2020 to till today.

RM Archway (Freelance) “How do I attract or find new/better clients in Freelance?” Then I decided to showcase what I can do, through social media. That’s how the idea popped-up in my mind to start an Instagram page - @rmarchway. But the question is to choose a way which attracts the people more ? So I decided to choose Interiors and started working on different types of interiors and started posting on the Instagram page. That made me reach the clients and other small firms and made me work on real time projects in all types of 3D Visualisations.

This project came to us at lintel stage and the client had already tried elevation from the Engineer side of which she didn't get satisfied so when she came to us, she wanted a standout elevation with minimal use of colour and design. So, we gave a simple and minimalistic design to a 33feet wide and 66feet length Duplex house. The client got satisfied with the first option itself and told us she got the design as she expected it to be.

This is our first project at Aranthangi and we did full architecture interiors and exteriors for this project. The client is very co-operative and told us very clearly what he wanted. The site is a corner plot. Groundfloor and front portion is occupied by the client and back portion is rented out. It is a south-west corner plot with roads at two sides and it has been designed as per vasthu and we documented the whole project as it’s a complete project along with walk-through as well.

Ground Floor Monopoly, scrabble, chess? These words strike a chord. Whether a competitive player or just in it for fun, board games can be therapeutic and exciting. And growing up doesn’t mean to stop having fun. So, feeling like a child again at these board game cafes over some yummy snacks is a great collusion of both. This is the idea, the client came up with for the ground floor of the cafe where especially young ones, enjoy gathering in places with their friends where they can spend a good time on some serious gaming without interruption.

Upcoming project in Bangalore (Still in Developing stage)
GREY PAINT TEXTURE CODE 001
The cafe is well designed with a Board Gaming Concept. The black and white Ceramic Mosaic chess tiles resemble the chess board. The total Cafe has been coloured with the red and grey as these colours have been preferred by both the gamers and red is perfect colour to be used for food related commercials as it enhances the hunger. The Pendant lights that have been hung to Aluminium bars, brings the real life to this gaming cafe.

Proposed Interiors for Cafe Commercial Upcoming project in Bangalore (Still in Developing stage) First Floor Restaurants and cafes can market themselves as a part-time coworking space to bring in extra revenue, especially during slow periods. We’re explaining how your food establishment can become a hub for start-ups and the self-employed. This is the idea of the client who came up with the first floor of the cafe which is a coworking spaces (also referred to as shared workspaces) are popping up in cities and towns all over the world. This flexible cafe with office space offers freelancers and start-ups, the opportunity to get away from their home offices or collaborate in an affordable workspace
The cafe is well designed with a Transitional concept by mixing up the cafe with an office space. There are 3 types of seatings provided: The type-1 is sofa type seater for a meeting purposes where each unit has 6 member capacity. The type-2 is common seating that provide seating for 2 members. The type-3 is a special unit for freelancers to work on a place that gives them the uncommon free workspace.

Proposed Elevation for Mr.Narayana Swami 5 Residential Proposed Residence for Mr.Narayanaswami at Hindupur. This project was handed over at the planning stage with a few changes. The built structure covers about half of the total site area and is very well planned and organised as per vastu. The Elevation is designed with a traditional slope roof and sunshades as well. The Car Shed is also designed with a traditional slope roof as per the client’s choice. The colours and geometries play an important role aesthetically and functionally. The material usage is very less and also with a security conscious a Grill to the sit-out has been added and also iron spikes have been added to upper half of the compound wall. The client was very co-operative.

Proposed Interior Renovation for Mr.Mallappa 6 Residential (Renovation) This is a Renovation project proposed for Mr. Mallappa at Hindupur

This has been a great challenge just to renovate the hall by keeping the old interiors untouched. This hall should merge with the old interior style and in a modern look at the same time. I personally took much care in the selection of every material. This renovation was carried-out with a very low budget and in less span of time.

Proposed Exterior Renovation for Mr.Govinda Raju 7 Residential (Renovation) Proposed Residence for Mr.Govinda Raju at Hindupur. This is a unique and first over-all renovation project at Hindupur with full architecture exterior and interiors. The client is very co-operative and told clearly what he wanted to do with the 20-year-old building to bring that into current context. He gave full support for the demolition at certain places to make it as better as possible. The transformation is unbelievable in the structural view and it is well designed as per vastu. The overall project is documented, as it is a complete Renovation project. The overall budget for the entire renovation is 10 lakhs and the project is at the tip to get finished soon with the expected budget and thanks to the client for believing in RM Archway.

The Interior of the building is out-dated of 20 years, the changes included demolition to satisfy the needs of the client, like providing an indirect entrance to the bedroom from the hall. As the client is a spiritual practice member in Brahma Kumaris Organisation, he demanded to design with a concept where a lotus petal shapes have been used in the design. Thus, the curve geometries collide with the other geometries and the outcome is as shown below.
