CERTIFICATIONS

Italcabine projects and produces in accordance with requirements and regulations issued by National and International Authorities. The company has formally certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008. In order to guarantee higher quality standards all the elements produced bear CE marking fulfilling the European legislation 89/106/CEE


THE COMPANY

Italcabine has been established in 1980 and is currently located in the district of Verona, Northern Italy where takes place the entire production. Thanks to its strategic position close to the main highways all the manufactures can be easily export and shipped abroad.

The market needs and evolution has encouraged Italcabine in offering along with the precast substation also the electric installation with electro-mechanical equipment, systems and components for the electricity distribution. The industrial processing is carried out in a modern and fully automated factory to ensure the product quality, punctuality and post sales assistance.

The manufactures carried out by Italcabine comply with the structural engineering and electrical requirements. The precast elements are produced in accordance to European regulations and bear CE marking.

CONCRETE PANELS SUBSTATION A technically perfect product made to customer specifications

DESCRIPTION The manufacture is formed by modular elements. Although it requires the assembly on site, it has a considerable advantage of being made of any size and customized on request from patrons. The assembly is extremely easy and rapid.


TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS WALLS They are made in vibrated reinforced concrete and packaged with high strength cement suitably reinforced with 10 cm thick walls. They are internally and externally treated with quartz plastic wall plaster that confers high resistance to atmospheric agents. The natural ventilation of the cubicle is helped by ventilation windows to prevent condensation. The ventilation grilles installed are selfextinguishing and manufactured in polyester resin reinforced with glass fiber which guarantees a degree of protection IP 33 according to IEC-EN 60529. They are equipped with anti-insect net with 10x10mm stainless steel mesh and mounting accessories. The design of the prefabricated substations always provide the correct thermal balance inside the prefabricated structures. FLOOR Entirely made in vibrated reinforced concrete and packaged with high strength cement suitably reinforced, is designed to bear the load of electromechanical equipment and transformer. Premade holes on the floor allow the passage of cables inside the foundation tank. ROOF Is made in vibrated reinforced concrete and packaged with high strength cement suitably reinforced with 10 cm thick. Is waterproofed with tar sheath, welded and painted with silver bituminous paint. Different roof designs with our all-round ventilation system ensure a maximum of safety and enable adaptation of the station to suit the installation site. FOUNDATION The base is prefabricated and has a bathtub shape which allows the passage of the MV and LV cables inside the substation through suitable premade holes. The tank, in addition to the isolation of the product from the ground, has holes at pre-established fracture to allow the input of cable ducts and the passage of cables of medium and low voltage for the internal distribution. It can be equipped with preassembled cable gland kit for MV and LV incoming and exiting cables from the enclosure box, suitable to guarantee the requirements of tightness even in the absence of cables passing through. The outer grounding system is constituted by a copper braid of suitable thickness, positioned inside the trench around the perimeter of 1 meter from the crankcase connected to the electro-welded network drowned in the crankcase, from the point of the ground inside the prefabricated substation and by 4 cross ground conductors driven into the ground adjacent to the corners of the base. The tank is able to totally recover during the shift phase and collects transformer oil, in fact for the possible leakage of transformer oil you can request a complete base with flange that ensures the seal both inside and outside.

DESCRIPTION The compact substation is made in one piece of vibrated reinforced concrete. It easily fits narrow environments. Compact stations can be easily integrated in the installation site surroundings. The delivery and installation are extremely easy and rapid.


TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Entirely assembled in our plant. It comes fully equipped with electromechanical equipment facilitating all the remaining phases to be carried out in site. The substations are modular and easily coupled enabling the realization of complex structures. Delivery times are relatively short.

The foundation tank of the compact substation is detached from the manufacture. The tank, in addition to the isolation of the product from the ground, has holes at pre-established fracture to allow the input of cable ducts and the passage of cables of medium and low voltage for the internal distribution.
