Hornet are the largest of the eusocial wasps and are very similar to the close relative yellow jackets. Hornets are considered as the pests and they aggressively guard their nests when threatened and their stings are more dangerous than those of bees. There are many types of hornet can be seen all around the world. SYMPTOMS OF HORNET STING When a hornet lodges it sting you feel immediate pain and the area becomes red, swollen and itchy it may also cause wheezing, rashes, trouble breathing and shock. Some of the most allergic reaction to hornet sting are mentioned below: Dizziness Sudden drop in blood pressure Lightheadedness Loss of consciousness Severe swelling on the face, lips or throat. One may not experience all the symptoms at once but may experience at least some of them after subsequent sting.


Home remedies for hornet sting There are several home remedies that one can follow to relief himself or herself from hornet sting they are mentioned below: Honey: it has many properties that can be used as a medical reason to reduce swelling and inflammation beside this it also prevent infection from the bacterial agents and speeds up the healing process. Toothpaste: apply a small amount of toothpaste on a site of hornet sting as the venom can be neutralized with the use of alkaline toothpaste. If you see any reaction on the sting site after applying toothpaste then rinse it immediately and visit your doctor. Apple cider vinegar: soak a small cotton ball in with the apple cider and place it on the site of the sting until the pain goes away. Apple cider vinegar helps in reducing pain and gives relief to the sufferer.
