The pit is an important type in the research of ecological degradation. The vegetation of the surface layer is peeled off and the terrain changes violently. The main solution to abandoned ore pits is ecological restoration. According to the concept of "earth time", the scheme takes into consideration the most prominent geological change characteristics of the site itself, and creates different"Natural- Industrial- Repair"- landscape sceneries, so that when tourists are visiting the site can feel the confrontation and acceptance between the human and nature.

The current condition of the field is an opencast quarry with seriously damaged ecosystem, especially the surface vegetation. Therefore, our prior target of the design is to restore the ecological activity of the field. Considering the field's fragile condition, we hope the transformation will let the ecosystem regain its activity and stress resistance.

02 [Finding the Green] Urban Design
Academic,Team Work,Revised Tutor: Wen, Yicheng Location: Guangzhou, Guangdong 2017.05-2017.07
In order to find the potential open space in the old city, this scheme attempts to improve the quality of life of the residents in the old city while planning the whole site. At the beginning of the design, we conducted a comprehensive survey of the site. We pay great attention to the renaissance of the commercial street in the middle of the site to activate the economy. Finally, we transform the open space of the old city into small parks and street green spaces. Improved green rate and can achieve activities at the door of the home. The buildings inside the old city have been repaired.

[Chinese Opera & Music Exposition] Jiangsu Province Traditional Culture Exposition Academic,Team Work,Revised Co-worker: Gao Hanyu; My role: Design, Draw, Rendering Tutor: Wang, Xiaojun Location: Nanjing 2016.04-2016.06
This project is the design of an expo garden. Chinese drama culture is becoming less and more unknown, and young people are rarely interested in opera culture. We think we can put forward such a theme as opera culture in the design of this plan. Put this into the park's tour route. We divided the park into different areas, and we put different opera cultures from all over the country into these areas. There were not only popular science, but also live opera performances. For this, we designed a lot of outdoor and indoor performance venues. These venues are located on the road to tourists. When the tour is over, they have a deeper connection to the Chinese quyi culture.

This scheme is a private villa designed for a master of Chinese painting. I draw lessons from the classical gardens of Lingnan in the selection of design techniques and design materials. Using white walls and sloping roofs to build the artistic conception of Lingnan gardens, adding modern materials such as glass and steel, can better carry out ventilation and lighting. The building uses Lingnan garden-style courtyard enclosure, the combination of real and virtual, so that people feel the rhythm in the course of the journey.

[Mountain & Water fall]
[Riverway & Boardwalks]
Take advantage the feature of site topography, switching passive topography to active.
[Lake & Building] The riverway in the site has been abandoned , but it still has function to collect rainwater. We want to develop it as a waterfront strip.
Natrual Lake and Mountain is the best location for buildings, which could provide building a good waterfront view. And it won't have too much environmental interuption.

[02 Topographic Analysis with GIS] [3D Site Model]
[Terrain Profile Analysis]
[3D Site Model]
It can be seen from the 3D model that the height difference in southwest direction of the site is small and suitable for development. There are hills in the northern part of the site with a drop of 205 meters, which is southeastward, and the influence on the line of sight should be considered. The buildings are mainly distributed in the plain area in the southwest.

[Elevation Analysis]
[Terrain Profile Analysis]
Elevation refers to the vertical distance from the ground point to the height of the surface. It expresses the degree of fluctuation of the ground height. From the figure, it can be seen that the topographic elevation is mainly distributed in the range of 0-205 meters, and it is obvious that most of the elevation is distributed below 45 meters. The plain is obvious.
The red curve is obtained by connecting the mountain peak to the ridge. From the figure, the red curve is not undulating and the place is flat, while the green curve is obtained directly from the north to the south, which can better reflect the topography of the area, and the plain is obvious.
[Slope Analysis]
[Aspect Analysis]
By analyzing the fault profile of the north-south and east-west terrain of the site, we can see the topographic changes before and after the site reconstruction, and the original undulating terrain has been transformed into a flat terrain.
[Fill and Dig Quantity Analysis] Earth Volume(Unit: mÂł) 14087937.4752 Dig Fill 15576925.7839
From the 3D model of the site, we can clearly see the changes before and after the site reconstruction. In the east and south of the site, a large amount of soil has been filled, and a large number of undulating terrain in the central part of the site have been rebuilt. The original hilly area is preserved. After transformation, it is convenient for future urban development and utilization.
Using Arcmap to calculate the surface difference of the two kinds of terrain before and after, the total volume of the fill is 1408.8 cubic meters, the volume of the fill is 1557.7 cubic meters, More hills are not suitable for construction and it is difficult to balance the earthwork volume due to the need to consider connecting different plots with the surrounding terrain. Therefore, the result is within the acceptable range.

Legend Dig The distribution of the fill-and-dig square Fill coincides with the original terrain, and it can be seen that the original hilly terrain is preserved.
Legend Generally speaking, the smaller the slope, the better the land suitability, the maximum slope of the expressway is 3 degrees, and the slope of the area is 0.1 degree, so it is very suitable for the city construction.
Slope direction is also an important consideration in urban construction, and the south slope can win a better construction orientation.

Design Notes: This design extracts intertwined lines from natural organisms and uses natural materials to create a flowing space in which the interior and exterior are blurred and the skin body and interior space are merged. The skin of the enclosed space also evolved into the ontology of the space. This subtle logical change brings a rich spatial experience to the small space. Space Epidermis
