Important information All events will include technical and creative photo support from Charlotte Bellamy. The workshop dates will involve a greater element of teaching and support. Where transport to a venue is included this will be stated in the details. Event organisation is based on a minimum number of people attending. If this number is not met these events will be cancelled or re-scheduled. If you have already paid, then your payment will be refunded in full. Most of the events have a maximum number of participants to ensure individual attention and optimum learning opportunities. Payment is required via bank transfer 7 days before an event. If you are interested in 2 or more events please contact Charlie for a discount. Tulip route around Emmeloord 10th April 2016 3 places available only
This full day trip will explore the Dutch bulb fields in North Holland. Following a 100km bulb route we will explore the area with masses of photo opportunities. The day will include a number of short tutorials and explanations on how to get great photos in the different locations and situations we explore.
Leaving Arnhem at 9.00am, we will drive up to the bulb fields route, which will take about an hour and a half. Once there we will follow the bulb route. With just 3 in the group you will have every opportunity to be the one to shout “stop” as you see a fantastic photo opportunity.
Return transport from Arnhem, transport around the bulb fields all day. Photography tutorials during the day to assist and encourage your exploration of the location. Not included: Lunch or drinks
You will have lots of free time to experiment and create the images you wish. I will be available all day to offer advice and suggestions should you wish for any technical or creative help with your camera.

There will be opportunities for landscape photography, macro and maybe some action when others in the group want their photos taken jumping in the bulbs! The trip may also include a visit to Urk – a pretty fishing village close to the route. We will return to Arnhem around 18.00 depending on how easily I can drag everyone back away from all the flowers!
Bring your own snacks and something for a picnic, but we will also stop en route for coffee and comfort breaks throughout the day. Entry to any open gardens or visitor attractions on the way around. Keukenhof and surrounding bulb fields 30th April 2016 4 places available only
This full day trip 09.00 – 20.30 is a great way to see the bulb fields of Holland and experience the world famous Keukenhof gardens. The day will include a number of short tutorials and explanations on how to get great photos in the different locations and situations we explore. You will have lots of free time to experiment and create the images you wish.
In a small group of just 4 individuals you can be guaranteed a fun, relaxed and informative day.
Included:
The day starts in Arnhem at 9.00am. We will drive about an hour and a half over to the tulip fields near Keukenhof. We will then hire bikes and ride around the bulb fields near Keukenhof, including a lunch stop en route. On bikes you can stop whenever you want so you get so many great photo opportunities.

I will be available all day to offer advice and suggestions should you wish for any technical or creative help with your camera.

Early afternoon we will enter the beautiful gardens of Keukenhof as the tourists start to board the busses back to Amsterdam and the gardens become quiet. We will remain at Keukenhof till close at around 7pm. Then return back to Arnhem for about 20.30.
Gouda cheese market Half day tour 12th May 2016 4 places available only This half day trip 08.30 – 14.30 is a great way to experience one of the oldest Dutch traditions – the selling of cheese at market. The day will include a number of short tutorials and explanations on how to get great photos in the different locations and situations we explore. We will stay together as a group in each location, so that I can offer advice and suggestions should you wish for any technical or creative help with your camera.
In a small group of just 4 individuals you can be guaranteed a fun, relaxed and informative day. The day starts in Arnhem at 08.30am. We will drive about an hour and a half to Gouda ready for the start of the market at 10am. During the morning you will photograph the cheese market from many angles – capturing images that bring the event to life in your photos.
Included: Return transport from Arnhem to Gouda Entry to the town hall for overhead photos of the market. The town of Gouda is also very pretty and there will be time for you to explore away from the market if you wish. Small cobbled streets, courtyards, canals and bikes are just some of the other photo opportunities.
Utrecht Photo walk 22nd May 2016
This half day photo walk is a fantastic opportunity to explore one of the beautiful cities of the Netherlands with your camera. We will meet in Utrecht at 14.00 and explore all that the city has to offer from its unique sunken canals to the beautiful Dom tower, and all its unique architecture and charm in between.
I will guide the walk around the city so you can enjoy photographing and exploring rather than map reading! I will be on hand to help out with any technical or creative photographic questions you might have throughout the afternoon.
Included: Guided 4 hours photo walk around the city of Utrecht. Opportunity to ask questions as you photograph to help with technical and creative development. Not included: Food or drink Transport to Utrecht
Our meeting point will provide you with a great opportunity to photograph the city from above.

Doesburg Photo challenge 10 12 June 2016 13.00 – 17.00
Take the opportunity to explore Doesburg for an afternoon with your camera! This event is something a little bit different. With a list of photo challenges for the afternoon, work alone or with friends, creating images which you feel capture the 10 challenge requests.
Challenges will include ‘reflection’ specific colours, ‘bike’, and ‘up high’ with many more to be interpreted as you wish.
Important information
No image will be judged ‘wrong’ so you can just have fun with this.

Within 2 weeks of the event (by 4th June) you will need to send your 10 challenge photos by email. Full details of how to do this will be provided to you at the event. Images will be judged by 3 independent professional photographers.
Doesburg is a beautiful town and the chance to explore with your camera is a wonderful opportunity to find the unique, the unusual and the interesting about this historic Hanze Stadt. There will be small prizes for the winner of each individual challenge, with the overall prize: a personal half day of photo training with me on a subject of your choice.

Arnhem station Black and white workshop 26th June 2016 4 places available only
This half day workshop is a fantastic opportunity to explore the new station in Arnhem with your camera. The morning will start with a discussion on black and white photography, which will provide you with lots of ideas and techniques and ways to look at your environment to create striking B&W photos.
I will be working with each person individually throughout the morning to encourage creativity and help with technical aspects of creating the photos.
Included: 4 hours photo workshop on location at Arnhem station. Individual 1:1 attention during the morning. Critique of photos taken on the day via email following the event to help your understanding and learning. Not included:
You will be free to explore the station over the 4 hour workshop, to create the photos you wish.

Appeltern Creative photography workshop 11th July 2016 4 places available only
This half day workshop 10.00 – 14.30 will be a feast for the senses. The amazing gardens of Appeltern are so diverse the photographic opportunities are endless. With such a huge amount to photograph it can sometimes be a little hard to focus, and it’s very easy to end up snapping away at everything. This workshop will encourage you to find a theme or interest factor to work with, and to explore your surroundings with this in mind. As a result you will create a more cohesive collection of images.
Before the day you will be encouraged to think about ideas that you may like to explore. Then when we arrive we will discuss how each of you will work with your ideas in the gardens.

Transport to the gardens. Although I will have 4 spaces available in my car if you wish to join me.
I will work with each person individually during the workshop to encourage and support the attainment of the vision each of you is aiming for.
