This is a walking sequence studies inspired by Monty Python’s Ministry of Silly Walks. I’m very interested in the way one can walk, especially when it has a gracious tone. Although humorous, Monty Python’s Ministry of Silly Walks struck me mostly as super elegant. This small video is a starting point to research the concept of walking styles further.

An allegorical animation film about the role of impermanence in our life. Finity Calling is the stop-motion film project of director and animator Jasper Kuipers. My role in this production involved costume design, textile development and creation of the garments. For this project I collaborated with designers MaryMe-JimmyPaul and Sonny Roffel. I had just graduated at the Royal Academy of Arts, The Hague, in Fashion and Textile design. Hence working on the production of Finity Calling was a wonderful opportunity to combine my background in fashion, textile and some costume design with my growing aspiration to become an animator.
