OLIVIA FULLER - CAPTAIN

Olivia is an extremely dedicated dancer whose hard work has paid off. It has been an honor for her Latin dance coach and teammates to watch her grow into the confident, successful dancer she has become. Olivia’s leadership, organization, support of her teammates and assistance with choreography have all shown that she can be counted on. She has earned the respect and love of the team through her kindness and encouragement, and we will miss her terribly. Agatha, or Aggie, has a passion for dance that was evident from the beginning. Her talent is equally evident, and nothing seems too challenging for Aggie to execute. Her natural ability combined with her readiness to work hard, her quiet leadership combined with her dynamic technique, and her willingness to support the team in every capacity earned her the trust of her peers and an open invitation to return to the CLS dance room as an alumna.

DANCE TEAM

The Dance Team kicked off the season with an intensive at Jami Masters School of Dance, led by Top Cat Zaria Fuller and former Top Cat Coach Nicole Smith. It was an honor and pleasure to have alum (and Broadway star) Sterling Masters Deeney back at Latin to choreograph for our team during a two-week long bootcamp. Even though our fall team was smaller than usual, the girls worked hard and their efforts and determination showed during performances on the football field. I am proud of every single one of them! We are looking forward to the winter season with a few new additions to the team.
